Playing with new stamps and new colors is so much fun. How would you like to join us sometime? You can always see my class schedule here on the blog and on my SU website. I also run a stamp club which is a great way to earn free products. This amazing group of ladies meet once a month and we try out all the new products, have fun stamping, chatting and snacking. Contact me if you would like to know more about stamp club. It will resume in August, just in time for the New Holiday Catalog.
Today I am sharing a card created using the Animal Outing stamp set. A few weeks ago a friend asked me to make a card for her sister’s birthday. Her only request was that it have an animal on it. Out came this stamp set and the rhino made the cutest card. What do you think? I like it. He is such a cutie.
This is a new stamp set and new Designer Series Paper. Love new toys.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Stamping!
Ginny

I am sharing a card I created for Fab Friday #139. This week they posted a sketch challenge, my favorite! Sketches are one of my favorite starting places for card crafting and scrapbooking.
Here is the Fab Friday sketch:
Pretty simple which makes it easy to go in several directions. I chose to go with a basic, simple card that has movement and color.
Here is my card:
The bicycle rider shows movement and the waves of the embossing folder makes it look like he is riding with the wind. I deliberately offset the two circles to make your eye travel.
See the brick road. It is silver embossing paste on the new Gray Granite card stock. The embossing paste has a little bit of shine, which I love.
I also want to wish everyone a Happy Father’s Day! Make it an enjoyable day doing something special.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Today I am sharing a card I created for Global Design Project #142. It sure feels good to be back participating in some challenges. I have had a summer cold and have not wanted to do anything. Hopefully I will start to feel better after today’s visit to the doctor.
Here is the sketch for this week. Simple but the slant gives it some interest.
Here is my Oh, Darling card:
Look at this sentiment! I knew I had to have this stamp the minute I saw it. I can see it on so many cards and scrapbook pages.
Old Meets New
To create this card, you will be mixing an older stamp set, Beautiful You with new Designer Series Paper and this fabulous sentiment. I love when you can mix and match with our stamp sets.
