I have another geeky post for you guys. I so love the Library Challenge page. As a former librarian it tickles my fancy and warms my heart. A perfect for challenge me. This week is Reader’s Choice which means I get to choose one of my favorite books-Mr. Popper’s Penguins. Sweet!
When I was a first-grade teacher we would read “chapter books” to our students to encourage them to start reading them for themselves. One perennial favorite was Mr. Popper’s Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater. This creative and hilarious story has entertained children for years. It sparks their imagination and encourages them to have big dreams and adventures.
Here is the cover of Mr. Popper’s Penguins:

Welcome to the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop. We are Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from different countries, but Stampin’ Up! has made us friends. That is the best part of Stampin’ Up! in my opinion. You get to meet lots of new friends and have fun doing it. Best of both worlds.
Out theme this month is Fancy Folds. Who doesn’t love a fancy, yet easy card?
I am not sure if my fancy fold design has a name, I’ll call it a tied side fold card. I have used this card design several times. The beauty of this design is you can change the dimensions of the side flap to suit your image or sentiment.
For this card I wanted to make sure and highlight the stunning Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper. It is gorgeous. I liked this so much I made several for some of our Christmas cards.
Another plus is it is not just for Christmas, This DSP will work for birthdays, sympathy, and even baby cards. Love that!
Make sure you hop on to Carrie. The blog links are listed below.
