Hello Friends. I have four simple, bright, and adorable Valentines to share with you today. Did you know that approximately 145 million valentines are sent in the U.S. each year? This does not count all the Valentines children exchange at school. That is a LOT of cards.
I deliberately made these simple and quick so I could make several of each design. The Designer Series Paper does all the heavy lifting on these cards.
I also have an ordering special along with these cards. Place an order with me for at least $35 before tax and shipping and I will send you kits for these four cards. Place a $50+ order and you will get 5 yards of assorted ribbons (1 yard each) as a thank you from me! If your order is over $150 don’t use the host code and you will still get my perks. You must use my Host Code to earn the perks.
Orders must be between January 4-January 12.
You can also watch my Facebook Live as I made these cards.
Thanks for visiting me today. I appreciate you.
For your shopping convenience I have listed the supplies for these projects at the bottom of this post.

I know these boxes might not look simple but they really are! Of course, the oh so gorgeous Painted With Love Designer Series Paper make them look very classy and elegant.
I created these as Valentine’s Day gifts, but they would be just the ticket for a ladies luncheon or wedding favor.
See the pink doilies? I used my blends to color the back of a silver doily. Blends help stretch your stash.
I have seen so many cool ideas using this box. I can’t wait to try them…I promise to share.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by today.

This sure seems like it has been a long week. I think it had something to do with the UGA/Alabama Football game Monday night. It took until Wednesday before I recovered my lost sleep! It was a good game even though Alabama won.
I am playing along with Global Design Project #GDP120today. This is a case the designer challenge. This card by Krista Frattin is so soft and pretty. I love all her little elements and color palette.
My card is not soft colors! I chose to make a Valentine’s Day card using her card sketch as my starting point.
Take time to check out all the other cards in this challenge. I always enjoy seeing how others create a card …. They are all so different. That’s what makes us unique, we see different elements to use on our cards and projects.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Stamping!

Today I have a non-traditional Valentine for you. I have heard several comments that the two current catalogs are lacking in the Valentine department. That really is not true… you just have to be creative.
These stamp sets would work perfectly for Valentine’s Day:
Sure Do Love You Heart Happiness
Birthday Delivery Special Celebrations (sentiments)
Bloomin’ Love More Than Chocolate
Lift Me Up Lots of Love
Guess what?? I had to stop looking because there are at least 20+ more that would work!
Here is my non-traditional Valentine:
I used Sharing Sweet Thoughts and paired it with the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper and the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (both are FREE Sale-a-bration items). I know you can come up with a bunch of ideas if you spend the time looking through the catalogs. Your imagination will soar when you start thinking how to reuse and repurpose a stamp set. Go ahead, give it a try.

We had a wonderful holiday break in Denver visiting family, but we are glad to be back home. Sleeping in your own bed is heaven! Highlights of our mini-vacation include Christmas gifts, bowling, goofy golf in 30 degree temps, eating too much, board games and lots of hugs and laughter.
My card for today is a CASE the catalog card. The new Occasions Catalog has this lovely set, Petal Palette. It comes as a bundle but it also has accessories to enhance the bundle. Petal Passion Memories & More has a variety of images perfect for scrapbooking and card making. These cards are the easiest way I know to create a fast and stunning card. Select a card from the pack and get busy!
My project is on page 24 of the Occasions catalog. It is shown as part of a wedding layout for a Memories & More scrapbook page. I saw it as a Valentine card!
These little love birds are super sweet. I trimmed the card down a little bit on each side so it would not overpower the leaves peeking out around the edges. I used the Petal Palette Thinlits to cut the black leaves and the card was complete. I had to use Wink of Stella on the tiny heart to give it some shine.
Here is a glimpse of the variety of cards that come in the pack. I can’t wait to make more quick and easy projects with this set.
It is hard to believe 2018 is almost here. Cheer’s to a new year!
