For some occasions there are just no words. Sending a card to let someone know you care, are thinking about them and that you are praying for them is the best you can do. Beautiful Promenade has some lovely sentiments for many of life’s events.
This simple notecard will work for one of those occasions. The soft colors convey peace and the wording is heartfelt.
This sentiment is from Beautiful Promenade and the flowers and leaves are from assorted die sets. I love the versatility of our stamps and die sets. It is wise investing if you can make them work in a variety of different ways.

Soft and subtle is the perfect combination for a sympathy card. This card fits my criteria nicely.
The stunning Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper will remind you of a Monet painting.
Toning it down with a piece of vellum gives it a nice soft vibe. Vellum leaves and sprigs along with one sweet flower complete the look.

Let’s get hopping….
I have created two cards using Petal Palette. This stamp set has beautiful watercolor type images. Just right for watercoloring, Blends, markers or watercolor pencils. They even look wonderful left uncolored. Bonus – they have matching thinlits.
My first card uses the bird image and I left him black and white. I like the bold lines and thought he looked classy sitting on the green branches. The designer paper is Merry Little Christmas and I sponged it with Pool Party ink to make the leaves have the blue cast to them.
As I am always in need of sympathy cards I decided to use this set and made several to put in my card stash. The roses and leaves are colored with the new Blends markers. I absolutely love the way this came together.
