Stamptastic Friends are sharing coloring techniques today. Stampin’ Up! has so many coloring options it is hard to pick just one!
We have Inks, Blends, Watercolor Pencils, Water Coloring Brushes, Blending Pens, Sponge Daubers, & Blending Brushes. There may be more that I have forgotten!
I chose to share how you can use Sponge Daubers to ink up your stamps. The Daubers give your images dimension with very little effort. I always love easy techniques.
For these two cards I started by using a light color of ink. Ink your stamp well, then take a darker ink and brush around the edges of your image using the Sponge Dauber. Go lightly and use short strokes. Now you are ready to stamp. Every time you try this technique your image will change. That is what makes it so interesting.
On this card I used Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo.
The second card uses Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape.
I hope you will be inspired to try other color combinations with this stamp set.

I love a good Celebration! It can be wedding, birthday, housewarming, special holiday or just getting together with family. There is always a reason to celebrate!
The Stamptastic Friends are celebrating today. I know you are going to be inspired to create your own celebration cards.
I chose a birthday card for my celebration. Birthdays are special and deserve to be celebrated.
The background of this card was created using one of the masks from Artistic Mix Decorative masks. I love how it gives such a soft subtle background.
The flower were die cut from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. This makes a beautiful card so easy!

Stamptastic Friends are sharing Simple Stamping today. Simple stamping can be a challenge for an experienced stamper, but the Zany Zebras make a simple card super easy.
I started with a piece of Playing With Patterns designer series paper. I knew I wanted multicolored zebras and this paper was a perfect match for some colorful zebras.
Don’t you think these bright zebras are kicking up their heels? Happy and frolicking zebras rather than a stampede.
The inside says : You party animal! Just perfect.
The majority of the Friends are in the UK, yet I happen to be in the US. If you have any crafty friends in the US I would appreciate it if you share my post with them. Be sure to hop on to all the other blogs. I am sure they will have great cards to share.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed the simple cards of the hop.

Today I am being very British and sharing cards created with my favourite colours. Yes, the Stamptastic Friends are hopping again and now that we are moved and settled in at our new home, I finally found time to create some much-needed cards.
Honestly, Coastal Cabana is my favourite colour ever. I hope it never retires!
I created a card that would be versatile for several occasions. Just change the sentiment and change the colours depending on the occasion.
This was such an easy card to make that I made 6 of them. 4 Thinking of You and 2 Sympathy.
During this stressful time, I have been sending more cards than usual. We cannot visit our family & friends in person, but we can certainly send paper hugs. I have been receiving about 2-3 cards a day from friends and it makes me so happy! Just going to the mailbox and seeing happy mail makes me smile and cheers my husband up also. How many cards are you sending? I hope you will consider sending those beautiful creations.
Make sure you hop on to the next Stamptastic Friend. You will be inspired by so many colour choices.
Thanks for stopping by today. Stay safe.
