Stamptastic Friends are sharing Simple Stamping today. Simple stamping can be a challenge for an experienced stamper, but the Zany Zebras make a simple card super easy.
I started with a piece of Playing With Patterns designer series paper. I knew I wanted multicolored zebras and this paper was a perfect match for some colorful zebras.
Don’t you think these bright zebras are kicking up their heels? Happy and frolicking zebras rather than a stampede.
The inside says : You party animal! Just perfect.
The majority of the Friends are in the UK, yet I happen to be in the US. If you have any crafty friends in the US I would appreciate it if you share my post with them. Be sure to hop on to all the other blogs. I am sure they will have great cards to share.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed the simple cards of the hop.

Stamptastic Friends are wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is so satisfying when you can send a beautiful handcrafted card to your friends and family. I know they wait for these special cards to show up in their mailbox.
I chose to create a Happy New Year card. It will stand out from all the Christmas cards my friends receive. It will also stand out because it is very sparkly. Bling, bling, bling.
This simple layout is a bit different because I cut the front smaller so the glimmer paper would be a larger focus frame to set off the images. Sometimes simple is best. It also means you can make several of these simple cards in a short amount of time. Saving time is a bonus.
The two cocktail glasses are filled with a silver beverage. I heat embossed the beverage with Silver Embossing Powder. Adding Wink of Stella to the glasses also adds some shine. I topped everything else off with a few Rhinestone bubbles!
I also created a cute tag that I will add to a bottle of wine. This will go to neighbors for a New Year gift. Fun times.
Hop on to my next Stamptastic friend. I am sure you will be inspired by her creations.
Cheers to a New Year!

This past year Stampin’ Up! has encouraged us to share #simplestamping projects. I never thought I would be a simple stamper but here I am loving it!
As I promised I am sharing another Birds of a Feather project today. This darling chick just brings a huge smile to my face. And it fits #simplestamping to a T.
Simple Directions
To create this card, I started with a Whisper White note card. I added a layer of Real Red cardstock and piece of Night Before Christmas Designer Series paper.
The chick is stamped on Whisper White and die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels. He is colored using Daffodil Delight Mango Melody and Real Rel Blends. A touch of Wink of Stella adds shine to the Santa hat and star. A simple piece of ribbon and red rhinestones finish off the project.
This card would be perfect to mass produce using your Stamparatus. Die cut the labels, position your stamps and get busy.
I hope you enjoyed my funny little chick today,

Simple stamping can be a challenge. We have so many stamps, inks, ribbons, and embellishments that it can be overwhelming. My advice: step back, take a deep breath and pick one simple stamp and get busy.
The other day I was using Beautiful Friendship stamp set. As I was putting it away, I inadvertently left out one of the stamps. It was this sweet, tiny flower blossom.
When it caught my eye, I decided to make a #simplestamping card.
Love, love how it turned out. Check out the fancy envelope!
You may or may not be seeing more of this tiny flower.

Cats – you either love them or hate them. I would love to own a cat but we travel too much to be responsible for a pet. Maybe when we are old and feeble, we can get a cat or a lap dog. Who knows?
For right now I am content creating some darling cat and dog cards. Stampin’ Up! ®has both animals covered with a simple, easy punch.
Today’s card is once again BRIGHT! The See a Silhouette Designer Series paper is so colorful, and the patterns are not the traditional designs you are used to seeing.
The bold patterns will make a great scrapbook page for those of you who are scrappers.
You are the Cat’s Meow. Great sentiment for a sweet cat loving friend. I hope she enjoys it.
A bit of trivia for you: “The cat’s meow,” an expression referring to something that is considered outstanding; coined by American cartoonist Thomas A. Dorgan (1877–1929)
