Today I am “Stamping with Friends”. Our task is to share our favorite Sale-a-bration product. This is almost impossible because I love ALL the Sale-a-bration items!
The Owls are too cute, the Dainty Flowers DSP is stunning, and all the other products are just fantastic.
I decided to share the Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper because it is such a fun print. Who can resist cute farm animals?
The best thing about this paper is you can make great cards even if you don’t have the coordinating On the Farm stamps and dies.
If you are like me, you like to have Hello/Thinking of You cards on hand, so I made a few of these to put in my stash. The Goose and Chicks are adorable, plus they make me smile!
I made some more fancy fold cards with this DSP and you can see them on my YouTube Channel. Don’t forget to click subscribe while you are visiting.
Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you hop on to be inspired by my stamping friends around the world.
Note: Sale-a-bration products are Free with Purchase items. For every $50.00 US you can choose a free item from the SAB catalog.
For your shopping convenience I have listed the supplies for these projects at the bottom of this post.
If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator. Just click on the Shop Now button to go directly to my online store or drop me an email: ginnyharrell@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Tuesday was the first day of Spring. It doesn’t feel like Spring yet with windy and chilly weather, but I know it will improve soon. If we could just skip all the Spring pollen I will be happy!
Today I am sharing a pretty spring card created with Lots of Lavender. This is one of the stamp sets you can get for free during Sale-a-bration. Of course, we all like free, don’t we?
Basket Weave Embossing Folder.
You may not have noticed the Basket Weave Embossing folder in the second Sale-a-bration release. It is part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle. The embossing folder mimics the weave in a straw basket. Isn’t it pretty?? I love embossing folders because they create great texture without much effort.
One more thing to notice.
We don’t sell Rich Razzleberry ribbon. You just use your new Blends to create ribbon in any color you like.
Very cool tip for making those Blends be a great investment. Note: The Blends have been in such high demand that SU has made the decision to turn off ordering for them at noon, March 23. They will not be available for ordering again until May. This will keep you as a customer from having a lot of backordered items. This is disappointing, but when you see how much fun the Blends are you will know why they have sold so fast.
Sale-a-bration ends March 31, 2018.
Get your orders in soon. You don’t want to miss any of those freebies.

Welcome to the first Friends of SUBA Blog Hop highlighting Easter Inspiration. You may be wondering, what is Friends of SUBA? We are a group of demonstrators who are blessed to be friends (and students) of Simply Unique Business Angels. Simply Unique Business Angels are two demonstrators based in the UK who provide technical training for other SU demonstrators who are interested in improving their web presence and Facebook activity.
You may have arrived here from Leighsa Allport or just starting here with Ginny Harrell @ Celebrate the Journey. If you happen to get off track or lost just scroll down to the bottom and you will see the entire list of participants.
This past February we were in Paris and I knew the Angels were offering a workshop in Hook, England. I knew this was something I needed help with, so I just hopped on a plane and joined them. It was so helpful and fun. Both Louise and Pip were very patient with us and we all learned new skills. I highly recommend their training!
On to the projects. We are highlighting Easter Inspiration for you.
I have very few Easter themed stamp sets, but flowers are always good for Easter, so I pulled out some pretty paper and stamp sets and got busy.
These sweet candy boxes are created with the Lots to Love Box Framelits Die. The tiny jelly beans box was much smaller than the framelits box. To make it fit the smaller box you just cut off about 1” of the box bottom before assembling. This is a great way to use up some of that DSP you have been hording! Punch out some daisies and add the center stamped with Happy Easter from Teeny Tiny wishes. Assemble with some ribbon and pop it in an Easter basket.
Easter cards in two pretty colors.
I love to send Easter cards to friends and family and these will be going out soon. Both cards use Springtime Foils DSP (free during Sale-a-bration).
Tips for creating two vibrant Easter cards:
To create this pretty blue color, use the sponge roller and add layers of Pacific Point ink. After inking it up use a tissue to wipe off the excess ink. That will bring out the silver and gold colors of the DSP.
To create the pink card, use Flirty Flamingo ink. Both cards use a combination of Gold and Silver Foil cardstock. Mixing metallics is very trendy!
I have included two extra photos, so you can see how the card is assembled. Leave me a message if you would like the measurements. I should have them typed up in a few days.

Thanks for joining us today. Keep on hopping and enjoy all the Easter Inspiration.

Today I have a Shiny, Bubbly Birthday card to share with you. This is a fun six pack of sodas (or beer) to place on a birthday card. Using the Wood Crate Framelits and Wood Textures Designer Series Paper make it a breeze to create a wooden crate. Love how Stampin’ Up makes it so easy for us to combine products.
Here is my card:
Stamping Tip To Get Shiny Bottles:
Stamp the bottles with the color and then stamp them with VersaMark. Clear Embossing Powder and your heat tool t make them look shiny. (almost like glass).
Cutting out the bottles and caps is a breeze because this set has matching Framelits. Another bonus of purchasing a bundle.
Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper is a free item from Sale-a-bration. Bubbles & Fizz DSP is very colorful, great for birthdays, children, and all sorts of celebrations. Purchase the Bubble Over Bundle, VersaMark pad, Clear Embossing Powder and the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper will be FREE! You can see the current catalogs on the left side of this blog page.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by today. I hope you enjoy my Shiny, Bubbly Birthday card. Happy stamping!

Today I have a non-traditional Valentine for you. I have heard several comments that the two current catalogs are lacking in the Valentine department. That really is not true… you just have to be creative.
These stamp sets would work perfectly for Valentine’s Day:
Sure Do Love You Heart Happiness
Birthday Delivery Special Celebrations (sentiments)
Bloomin’ Love More Than Chocolate
Lift Me Up Lots of Love
Guess what?? I had to stop looking because there are at least 20+ more that would work!
Here is my non-traditional Valentine:
I used Sharing Sweet Thoughts and paired it with the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper and the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (both are FREE Sale-a-bration items). I know you can come up with a bunch of ideas if you spend the time looking through the catalogs. Your imagination will soar when you start thinking how to reuse and repurpose a stamp set. Go ahead, give it a try.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!
