Stamping with Friends Share Partial Die Cut Technique

Hues of Happiness

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. Our theme for today is Partial Die Cut cards.

I was a bit nervous about this challenge at first. But then I discovered how fun and easy partial die cutting can be. This weekend you will find me making more cards with this technique! Isn’t it amazing how a challenge can spark new inspiration?

Irresistible Blooms

Irresistible Blooms

For this card, I used the Irresistible Blooms bundle and the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper. I chose one simple blossom for my first attempt at partial die cutting. After stamping and die cutting the flower I used Stamin’ Blends for coloring and added some Wink of Stella for shine. Sprinkling a few Tinsel Gems added sparkle and interest to the card front. Tinsel Gems are my new favorite embellishment.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I’m excited to see what the other stampers have created. Don’t forget to hop along and check out their beautiful projects.

CASEing the Catalog Saturday

A busy Saturday is perfect for CASEing the catalog. Just pick a page and start creating.

Swirly Bird stamps and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits are so playful. Honestly, they can be used is so many ways and for so many events. All those shapes and elements give your cards amazing texture. Here are my two cards:

I cased page 171 in the Annual Catalog today. Of course I made a few changes but pretty much stuck to the design. Along with using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits there was some fussy cutting. It was worth it though as I know someone will enjoy getting these cards in the mail.

Have a restful Saturday. I hope you get some crafting time for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!
