Today’s card uses the Honey Bee set. I have been trying to find time to play with this set and finally got to it today.
Cute images and sweet sentiments. Combine these elements and you have a honey of a card!
I thought the little flowers resembled thistles, so I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape as my starting colors.
Of course, I had to use yellow for the honey. I chose Mango Melody. Nice and bright!
The card front is embossed with the Subtle folder to give it a little texture. I love the way this turned out!
Thanks for stopping by today.

The ladybug spirit animal has always been a symbol of good luck. When you come upon a ladybug, make a wish and watch it fly away and make your wish come true.
I’m not sure if this wish thing really works, but I do know that this Little Ladybug is the cutest bug ever!
To create this card, I started with a sketch I saw on Pinterest.
I used a sponge to add some Pool Party sky on the Whisper White paper. Then I embossed it using the Subtle embossing folder. I love the subtle look of linen this folder gives.
Stamp the darling Lady Bug, color with blends and you are almost finished. The Happy Birthday is fussy cut and mounted using dimensionals.
Little Ladybug is a Sale-a-bration Host Set. It is yours for FREE with a qualifying order. Gather those orders and get this set today!
Got to love a sweet and simple card!

Today I am sharing a bubbly fun birthday card with you. I started with the sketch from Paper Craft Crew.
Of course, I used some of my favorite colors to create this card. I love the way these “beachy” colors go together.
The vellum circles were covered with Wink of Stella. This made them look like bubbles from a fizzy drink. A few sequins added some more bubbles.

Have you ever read The Secret Garden? It is a favorite of mine from when I first started reading chapter books. It is also one of the few books that I have read more than once. It is a book worth returning to often, when you need a comforting read from your childhood.
The Library Challenge posted this cover for The Secret Garden:
The black background and blue flowers intrigued me, so I took my inspiration from the colors and flowers.
Dark backgrounds are eye catching!
I need to use black backgrounds more often. I like the stark contrast and the soft flowers. It reminds me of Tole background trays.
It is hard to see but there is a little bit of shine and glitter on the background and on the flowers.
Make sure you check out all the other entries on The Library Challenge. They are always fun and creative.

My stamping friend Christina and I are sharing inspiration with you by using one stamp set. What she creates will be a big surprise to me and the same goes for her. We thought it would be fun to try this on a monthly basis, look for us again in October!
We chose Wonderfully Wicked for our September stamp set. Halloween is coming up soon and this is a fun stamp set for those who celebrate Halloween.
Here is my Halloween card:
Halloween colors but not scary at all. I am not sure you can see the black Shimmer Embossing. Shimmer Black & Shimmer White are two new embossing powders we started carrying this year. Shiny and sparkly are always fun!
Don’t celebrate Halloween? I’ve got you covered.
I used some of the products from the Nobel Peacock Suite to create a bright and wicked birthday card. I love when our products are so versatile.
I created the fluffy fringe ribbon by shredding the Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon.
