Gratitude Jar for the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop
I am hopping again today… I hope you enjoy these hops as much as I do. Make sure you click on the links at the bottom of this post to see projects by other talented Stampin’ Up demonstrators.
Giving Thanks is our theme for today. The closer we get to Thanksgiving the more we tend to focus on Gratitude. I honestly think we should all try to find something to be thankful for every day…not just at Thanksgiving. That is hard but at least we can make an effort!
I decided to make something that is NOT a card. Are you surprised???
This is a Gratitude Jar for Thanksgiving. Put it out with some small cards, the week of Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day. Invite your guests to write message about something or someone for which they are grateful. Have them place the message in the jar. On Thanksgiving Day pull the messages and read them; this should spark some lively conversations.
I used an old mason jar we had around the house, but any container will work. A flower vase or a clay flowerpot would be interesting.
The leaves are created with Vintage Leaves stamp set and the sentiments are from Lovely Friends and Painted Harvest. You could also use Painted Harvest to decorate a Gratitude Jar. Those sunflowers and leaves would be super pretty.
The leaves were colored with our new amazing Blends markers. Blends will be available to order November 1. I know you will want/need them!
I added a little bling with Stampin’ Gold Glitter. Bling is always a good idea, IMHO.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Don’t forget to hop to the next amazing creation!
