Today I am sharing a card I created for Global Design Project #350.
I almost forgot I had this stamp! Now I am totally smitten with it.
Last year we rode our bikes on the Rio Grande Trail in Colorado. One of the highlights of the trip was an early morning stop at Maroon Bells, which is known for stunning sunrise vistas. It did not disappoint. I could not find my photo of the Bells but found this one on a travel site. Isn’t it stunning?
Better Days helped me create a soft representation of the morning sunrise. Of course, it is nothing like the real thing!
Into the Clouds embossing folder made for a swirly background, lots of Wink of Stella created nice morning shine.
The sentiment from Nature’s Harvest was simply perfect for my purpose. I inked it with Starry Sky marker to get the bottom half of the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today.

TGIF Challenge shared a color combination this week. Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam = a beautiful soft card.
I immediately thought of the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper and went from there.
I used the Splendid Day Thoughts Bundle along with the Fabulous Frames dies. Pretty happy with the outcome. Inside is simple with room for writing a message.
Thanks, TGIFC#375 for providing inspiration for me.

I fell in love with Dandelion Wishes the moment I saw it. It brought back so many memories of picking dandelions, making daisy chain necklaces/crowns and blowing wishes once the dandelions turned in to puff balls.
Simple childhood games. So many good times!
I did a little research on dandelions: Did you know Dandelions are the flower of healing? Once they become puff balls they stand for the moving on to new beginnings.
We all thought they were just weeds.
After all this research I realized the sentiment I chose worked perfectly with this stamp set. Part of My Story is a Sale-a-bration set. It can be yours with a $50.00 purchase.
For the circle highlight I created a mask and used the sponge brayer to apply Daffodil Delight ink on my card front. Then I stamped my image and the sentiment. Super easy card to create multiples. I send a lot of Thinking of You cards.
Card Measurements:
Whisper White Card Base: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored and folded
Garden Impressions DSP: 5 ½” x 4 ¼”
Daffodil Delight Cardstock: 5 ¼” x 1”
Whisper White Cardstock: 5” x 3 ¾”
Ink: Memento Black and Daffodil Delight
The tiny butterfly is cut with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlit dies. HINT: You can cut the butterfly out of the center of your first layer of DSP. No one will ever know.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello Friends. I have two fun cards to share with you today. Same card in two totally different color schemes.
A few weeks ago, I taught a Beginning Stamping class and we created this lovely card. I think blue and yellow combinations are some of my favorite. This card is so bright and cheery and makes me long for spring.
Then I saw the Paper Players #428 color challenge:
Here is the same card but different colors. I LOVE the difference and the colors just pop on this card.
(sorry the gingham ribbon is retired)
Changed the sentiment…
Which one is your favorite, Balmy Blue & Daffodil Delight or Melon Mambo and Smoky Slate? Inquiring minds want to know.
I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
Happy Stamping! Ginny

I am continuing to work on my goal to have cards ready to send friends that need a little encouragement or a sweet thinking of you message.
Today I am using a set from the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up!®Annual Catalog. I didn’t purchase this set for a long time, but I kept seeing so many pretty cards I had to give in and buy it. I’m so glad I did. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
The bold Gorgeous Grape ink and cardstock are what make this card pop.
Look at the beautiful flower. It is so pretty. Adding the vellum leaves creates texture without overwhelming the sweet flower.
Thinlits and punches made this card a snap. It was easy to make several in a short amount of time. You could easily change the sentiment on this card and make it birthday or wedding. Love when that happens!
I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Hello Stamping friends. Time is flying by as we get ready for Christmas. Have you finished your Christmas cards? I still have a few to complete. I am sure they will get done, but I may be working up to the last day!
Today my post is not a Christmas card day. I created a thinking of you card for Freshly Made Sketches using a new stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. Did you know Stampin’ UP! ® Demonstrators get to purchase from New Catalogs early? One more reason to become a demonstrator!
Here is the sketch FMS#366:
Here is my Humming Along card:
This hummingbird was so much fun to color using Stampin’ Blends. I experimented with mixing some colors to get the shades I wanted. Of course, this bird is covered with Wink of Stella. It is hard to see the shine in a picture….
Confession time, this is the first time I had the nerve to cut the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Paper. I was so afraid I would mess it up. It was simple to cut and now I have more pieces to work with! This paper is beautiful!
The New 2019 Occasions Catalog is coming out soon.
You will be able to shop starting in January. If you don’t have a demonstrator you shop with and would like a catalog leave me a message and I will be glad to put one in the mail for you.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow for a blog hop with tons of inspiration for Thank You cards.
I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
