Gratitude & Thankfulness for Kylie’s International Blog Highlights

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I am joining in on an International Blog Highlight event. Demonstrators from around the world will be participating. You will be able to see beautiful projects that will inspire you as you create your thankful cards. You will also be able to vote for your favorite cards. I sure hope you will pick mine! You can vote for me HERE.

Thankful and grateful for all the people who have touched our lives this year: This is the theme for today. I can’t think of a better topic, can you? We get so busy during the holiday season we often forget to let others know we appreciate them.

Let’s fix that issue this year!

Here is my simple gratitude card:

I kept it simple, so I would be able to make several to have on hand.

Bright colors and a heartfelt sentiment make me happy.

To create this card you will use May Flowers Framelits, Flourish Thinlits, Petal Burst Embossing Folder and A Big Thank You Stamp set. Night of Navy, Lovely Lipstick Cardstock and Whisper White keep the color palate clean and simple.

This season I have also been giving out little gifts as a Random Act of Kindness. I carry these candy treats around in my purse. These treat boxes hold two Ghirardelli candy squares.

When a cashier or store associate is helpful and polite, I have been handing them this treat box with a thank you. I have also given them to strangers who smile at me as we pass on the sidewalk. It makes my day!

My challenge for you, show someone you appreciate them today.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you visit Kylie’s Blog today to vote for me. I would love to be a winner.

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Happy Stamping!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Today is World Card Making Day! World Card Making Day was first celebrated in the year 2006. Paper Craft magazine declared every first Saturday in October to be celebrated as this day. Paper crafters all around the world celebrate this day by making cards, mailing cards and getting together to craft and socialize. I have a small group coming to my house to work on class projects for the next few months. My personal goal is 15 card designs created by the end of the day. Wish me luck!

I have two things to share with you today.

First – A simple Thank You card to celebrate WCMD.

This card is easy to duplicate. Just change the sentiment and you have a different card!

Second – An ordering incentive.

All orders over $75.00 placed today, October 7th or tomorrow October 8th will earn the following:

A pack of Foil Snowflakes AND a pack of Black Rhinestones!

You must use the Hostess Code below to qualify for this bonus.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

One Tiny Word

Thank you cards may be a thing of the past for some people, but I still send them on a regular basis. Do you? Wouldn’t you love to get a pretty card like this in the mail?

So simple yet heartfelt. I made this card by casing a card from our demonstrator magazine. It uses the beautiful Petal Garden paper . The colors and designs in this paper stack are stunning!
