Hello Stampers,

Do you have friends and family that live far away? I think it is important to send cards periodically to let them know they are never far from our thoughts.

I cased this sweet image from the current 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up!® Catalog (page 25). I love the soft colors and darling animals on this card.

The leaves around the copper foil bench are stamped with the large tree top image from Sheltering Tree. It is great when you can use a stamp in a different way, makes your stamps multi-purpose!

Sitting Pretty and Sheltering Tree are two stamp sets that will be retiring the end of this month. Don’t miss out!

Sheltering Tree Revisited

I pulled out Sheltering Tree today. It is an older stamp set but still in the current Annual Catalog. It is one of my favorite sets and may have to stay in my craft room even after it retires! It makes pretty cards and has so many different variations. That is what makes a good stamp set GREAT! If you don’t own Sheltering Tree you should order it today. I have used it for birthday, thank you, thinking of you and sympathy cards. Like I said…it is a great stamp set.

Tips for creating this card:

To create this card you will use Calypso Coral and Night of Navy. The tiny strip of Night of Navy gives a nice contrast between the Calypso Coral and the Whisper White.
