We are sailing into Monday with one last Sailing Home project (at least for now). I hold a monthly Team Meeting with my fellow stampers. We get together and chat, share ideas and make a card or two. Last Thursday we got together at my home and this notebook is one of the projects we created.
I love the way it turned out. For the notebook cover I used Waterfront and Sailing Home. Amazing how we can combine stamp sets to make a great card/project.
I added the anchor charm on the braided linen trim to create a page marker.
Notice the cover is flat as it will probably go in my purse for note taking and I did not want the elements to get snagged and bent.
** You can find these notebooks on Amazon. Just search for kraft notebooks.

It is Wednesday and I am still sailing. After this week I may have to take a trip to the beach, the water looks so inviting.
Today’s card uses two stamp set, Sailing Home and Waterfront. A match made in heaven.
You can change out the sentiment and make this card work for any occasion, but I thought the colors were suitable for a thinking of you card. What do you think?

See you tomorrow!

Day 3 and I am still Sailing Home. This stamp bundle is limitless!
Today I combined the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack with the Sailing Home stamp set to create an over-sized card.
The Captain’s Wheel background is from the Memories & More pack and it is layered over Real Red cardstock. The red really sets off the white wheels.
I stamped a few sailboats and the lighthouse and assembled a fun travel themed card. This is perfect for your summer memories and could even be used on a scrapbook page.
Quick and easy cards give you more time for summertime fun!

Come Sail Away with me today as I have another Sailing Home project to share with you.
This super simple card uses a laser cut-out from the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack. The cards and laser cuts make card crafting a breeze.
To create this card, I used the Very Vanilla Note Cards. I love having these on hand for a quick card.
I started with a piece of the green map DSP added the laser cut anchor, two pieces of “rope” die cut using the Smooth Sailing Dies, and finally wrapped some Linen Thread around the card front. This piece was then added to the front of the Note Card. I added a Ship’s Wheel Trinket for a fun touch.
I also wanted the envelope to look special, so I added a piece of the DSP to the flap.
There are so many more great images in the Memories & More Card pack that will make your cards special. Give it a try!

I hear from stampers that it is hard to create cards for men. Honestly this Stampin’ Up! ® catalog has more masculine themed stamp sets than I can ever remember being in a catalog. We have cars, boats, horses, hot air balloons, ocean scenes, funny animals, fishing and so much more! No more complaining….
Come Sail Away is a fantastic new stamp set and bundle in the Annual Catalog. I am smitten with this stamp set and will be posting more creations all week. By Friday I hope I will have convinced you that you NEED this stamp set.
Here is my card:
I started this as a bridge card but felt that the bridge piece hid too much of the card. The spool of twine was on my desk and caught my eye. I looked up how to tie a Fisherman’s Knot and created a “bridge” of knotted twine. So cool.
Two other new products I used are these metallic Designer Elements and Sail Away Trinkets. I used a silver button for the hub of the captain’s wheel and added an anchor for interest at the top.
The little touches of whimsy on this card make me happy.
See you tomorrow with another Sailing Home project.
