Easy Sympathy Card

Thanks for popping in today. I hope you have a lovely weekend planned. I took the day off yesterday so a long walk is first on my agenda. Tonight we have a church choir potluck dinner party. I am taking a Tomato Tart – recipe found in the Summer issue of Magnolia Journal. It is sinfully delicious. In-between my walk and cooking I will get in a little stamping.  Today I am focusing on Colorful Seasons as I have a workshop towards the end of the month and they requested this stamp set. It is a great all around set so that makes me happy.

It seems like we go through sympathy cards faster than most other cards. I know it is important to send them but they are not always an easy card to make. When I find one I like I try to make a few extra to keep on hand. Certainly this one does not have a lot of stamping just a sentiment from the Rose Wonder set. I love the simplicity of the card though.

You could easily change the sentiment on this and make it into a birthday, thinking of you, or even a wedding card.

Use the Thick Very Vanilla Card stock for the base and Rose die cut. This will give you a nice thick die cut rose. Use the new Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to attach the rose to the card front. Easy peasy.

Happy Stamping!
