I created two Colorful Seasons projects to share with you today.

I am always in need of sympathy cards. I like my sympathy cards simple and classic. The wheat image from Colorful Season Bundle seemed perfect for a classic heartfelt card. The wheat is stamped three times with Versamark and heat embossed with copper embossing powder. I added a tiny piece of Tea Room ribbon and the sentiment. Super easy and simple. Copper foil is behind the image layer and just barely peeks out around the edge.

This gorgeous flower is another image from the Colorful Seasons Bundle. I love coloring, so this image called my name. I can see this flower colored in so many ways. Spring, fall, summer…. just change the color to suit the season. Here I used Poppy Parade, one the new (returning) colors in the Stampin’ Up collection. It is such a happy color. I stamped and colored this twice. Then I cut the flowers out, curled them with my bone folder and used a dimensional to pop them on the base image. It gives the flowers a 3D look.

The white background is the Basket Weave Embossing folder. See the pretty lace at the bottom of the card? It is a new edgelit: Delicate Lace. Love all the texture on this card.

Make sure you hop on to Jamie, I am sure she will have some amazing projects to share.

 Thanks for stopping by today.

RemARKably Creative Blog Hop: New Stampin’ Up! Products

Twice in one day! Not my usual posting schedule but I am back tonight hopping with the RemARKably Creative Stampers. We are sharing projects made with new products from the 2018-2109 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog.

I have been getting ready for a Christmas in July class and decided to share some of our projects.

Are you a traditional Christmas stamper or are you willing to try non-traditional colors? I love non-traditional colors because I just like the creativity of making them work for Christmas.

My first card is the non-traditional color combination. I used Champagne foil, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana card stock. The colors are bright, but the Champagne foil softens the look. Don’t you LOVE the Tufted Embossing Folder. It is so elegant!

We don’t have Melon Mambo rhinestones, so I colored some with the Blends. The Light Lovely Lipstick made a bright pink rhinestone.

I used the exact same layout for the next card but went with the traditional Christmas colors. Real Red, Garden Green and Gold Foil Cardstock always work well for Christmas.

Both cards are quick and simple. They would work well if you need a lot of Christmas cards.

Click on the links below to discover ideas from the new catalog.

Thanks for stopping by tonight. Happy Hopping!

Graceful Glass for RemARKably Created Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting our hop today. You are in for a real treat as 20+ demonstrators bring you creations from the New 12018-2019 Annual Catalog. You may be starting here or you may have arrived from Candy Ford’s blog. I love her style, don’t you? Look at the end of this post for the links to the participating demonstrators. Make sure you visit each one for inspiration.

I am focusing on a new bundle, Painted Glass. The Graceful Glass Designer Vellum also coordinates with the stamp set and thinlits. Go ahead and treat yourself to this bundle, you will not be disappointed.

Painted Glass

To create this card you will use the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum and Stampin’ Up Blends. Trim the vellum image, You get two images per piece of paper – whoo hoo! Color as desired using blends and markers. Set aside to dry. This card is 6 ¼” x 3 ¼” so you will need to make an envelope using the envelope punch board. Cut whisper white to fit directly behind the vellum image and mount both pieces to a piece of basic black. Adhere to card front. Stamp your sentiment and Mount with dimensionals.

Last week I taught a scrapbook class and it was so much fun I promised myself that I would do more scrapbooking. My goal is to scrap one page a week…or maybe more. I have tons of pictures from our travels and it will be fun to get them in a scrapbook. This page combines embossing paste and the thinlits. I already have more ideas for these thinits. They are so versatile.

Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of the hop.

Flowers Presented by RemARKably Created Blog Hop

This is my second post of the day – Go Me! This post is all about Flowers and the RemARKable Stampers have a lot to share. You can never run out of flower ideas if you are a Stampin’ Up stamper/demonstrator. We love flowers!

You may have arrived here from Gloria Plunkett’s blog or you are just starting here with Ginny Harrell @ Celebrate the Journey. If you happen to get off track or lost just scroll down to the bottom and you will see the entire list of participants.

Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper has beautiful flowers!

I have gone through at least 2 packs (or more) of the gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series paper. If you haven’t looked at it then you should look again. It makes beautiful cards. There are so many colors to use and that means a different look for each card design.

Created by Ginny Harrell #flowers #Stampin' Up Annual Catalog

My first card uses Soft Sky cardstock, Pear Pizazz cardstock, and Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. You will use the stamp set Perennial Birthday to stamp the flowers and sentiment. These flowers are so easy to color. Just use a sponge dauber and swirl the ink inside the flower image. This card design is called a Triangle Fold card. Use a small Velcro dot to keep it closed.

It is different and easy, which I really like.

More Flowers!

Created by Ginny Harrell #flowers #Stampin' Up Annual Catalog

My second card lets the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP do hard the work. You layer the DSP behind the split in the cardstock. Then fussy cut the flowers from a piece of DSP. Use the leaf from Painted Harvest and the Leaf Punch to create the leaves under the flowers. All these layers will be popped up with dimensionals. Use whichever sentiment you like. I used Beautiful You for this card.

Now hop on over to Jamie’s Blog and see what she has to share. Make sure you leave a comment and show her some stamping love. We all love comments. If you get off track just click on the links below.

Thanks for stopping by today.

RemARKably Created Blog Hop – Easter

Happy Sunday Stampers! The RemARKably Created Blog Hop is Celebrating Easter! I can’t wait to see all the amazing projects.

I created two Easter projects for your enjoyment.

Let’s get this blog hop started…..

For some unknown reason I did not purchase any of the Easter stamp sets in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  I like several of them but just never got around to ordering! I didn’t let that get in my way though. I dug out several spring like stamps sets and looked for pretty designer series paper and got busy. It was so much fun.

Here are my two blog hop projects.

#stampin' up #ginny harrell #Easter blog hop

It has been a long time since I created a “shabby chic” card and I rather like this one. The colors are soft and pretty, the paper doiles, ribbon and linen thread give it a scrappy vintage look. Such a delightful change from clean and simple.

 #stampin' up #ginny harrell #Easter #shabby chic #blog hop

The little Easter market basket is covered with sweet flowers and holds some tiny chocolate carrots. A sweet treat for a friend or grandchild.

#stampin' up #ginny harrell #Easter blog hop

To create the basket look I used Crumb Cake ink on the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then ran the Wood Crate pieces through the Big Shot. It really gives it depth and texture along with the impression of basket weave. The Wood Crate Thinlits make so many great projects. I am sure you can come up with lots of ideas.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog Ginny Harrell @ Celebrate the Journey or arrived here from Esther Boulter, the blogger previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, don’t worry. Just surf down to the full line up below and follow along from blog to blog.

RemARKably Created Mix & Match Blog Tour

Mix & Match Blog Tour

The RemARKably Created Blog Tour is focusing on Mix and Match with your stamps and accessories. We are using products from the 2018 Occasions Catalog and matching it up with products from the Annual Catalog. I love when you can mix old with new. It gives you a fresh new look from stamps you may already own. Stretching your supplies is also a bonus of Mix & Match.

Truly Tailored Matched with Guy Greetings

Today I am sharing tags created with the Truly Tailored Bundle (2018 Occasions Catalog) mixed and matched with Guy Greetings (Annual Catalog). A match made in guy heaven! One can never have too many masculine products.

True Gentleman Designer Series Paper has the perfect color palette,

The Designer Series Paper in this suite gives you the perfect color palette as a starting point. Stamp all your images; fussy cut, die cut or punch the elements and assemble your tags. The more mixy-matchy the better.

Are you a Georgia Bulldog?

Sorry, one tag is not in the same color family as the others. I had to get some University of Georgia red & black on one of the tags.

Stitched shapes add a masculine feel to these tags. The stitching reminds me of a tailored dress shirt or suit.

The Tailored Tag punch also pairs well with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

Purchase the Truly Tailored Bundle, add on the Designer Series Paper & Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon and you will qualify for a FREE Sale-a-bration items. That is shopping smart in my book. For your convenience I have listed the supplies for these projects are listed below.

I appreciate you stopping by today. Make sure you hop to stampers on our tour list. The next stamper from here is Cathy Rattray. Enjoy!
