Paper Pumpkin to the Rescue

Have you ever thought about trying out a Paper Pumpkin Kit? May is the month to give it a try. Demonstrators were able to get a sneak peek of the May kit and it is going to be fabulous.

A couple of years ago we had a kit designed by Sara Douglas (CEO of SU). Shelli Garner (our Founder) decided to jump in and design a kit. It is a very Shelli kit for sure!

Here is the card we were able to create. It comes with these sweet envelopes that will make your friends squeal when they open the mailbox.

If you are interested in subscribing to Paper Pumpkin click HERE and it will walk you through the process.

If you want to add a pre-paid subscription to an online order you may order 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Go ahead and give it a try. I know you will love the kits and projects.

The best perk of Paper Pumpkin? You will always have beautiful cards on hand for every occasion.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Crafting!

Timeless Tidings for Paper Craft Crew #306

Paper Craft Crew (PCC306) has a sketch challenge this week, so I decided to give it a try. The new Holiday Catalog was just released so it made sense to create a Christmas card using Timeless Tidings.

Here is PCC306 sketch:

Here is my card:

The sweet little poinsettia is from Timeless Tidings stamp set. Make sure you look at this stamp set and the matching kit to go with the stamps. It is a beautiful kit! Perfect for some fast and lovely Christmas cards.

My favorite sentiment is the one that wishes you the “Warmth of Christmas.”

I used one of our Mini Pizza Boxes to create this gift for neighbors and friends. I used the Stampin’ Up sponge brayer to color the box Garden Green, added a square of Real Red cardstock and All is Bright DSP, added the sentiment and a bow. Inside are 4 votive candles – for the “Warmth of Christmas”.

Happy Stamping!

Fancy Folds for Paper Craft Crew #304

Fancy folds are some of my favorite cards to create. Who doesn’t love getting a unique, fun card in the mail? Paper Craft Crew had a fancy fold challenge this week, so I decided to join in.

PCC304

This card is not only a fancy fold it is also very feminine. I bet a sweet little girl would enjoy getting this or maybe an elegant lady who loves pinks and lavenders. I bet I can find someone who would enjoy receiving this in their mailbox.

Delicate Lace Edgelits Stampin' Up Ginny Harrell PCC#304

Petal Promenade DSP has two pages with printed boarder shapes. I started with one of the squares and started layering die cuts and ribbon. I love the pink and purple combination.

Have you noticed these Delicate Lace Edgelits in the catalog? They are easy to overlook. Check them out on page 217.They make quite a statement on your card.

Here is the inside of the card. I think it needs some flowers added to the inside.  What do you think?

Fabulous Flamingo Valentine’s Day

You can’t get much easier than this! Busy days right before Christmas = CASE the catalog! I cased the Annual Catalog this week, page 177. Fabulous Flamingo is FABULOUS, perfect for all your flamboyant friends. I pretty much stuck to the design but changed out the words as I thought it would make a good Valentine’s Day card.

Can you guess how many Valentines are mailed every year? The Greeting Card Association calculates that 145 million Valentine’s Day cards are sent out every year in the United States. I send about 40 Valentines I think. I’ll count this year and see. That is a lot of happy mail!

Looking for a last minute gift idea? You may want to consider gifting a Paper Pumpkin Subscription. Give your friends and family a prepaid subscription to Paper Pumpkin. Each month, an orange box of fun arrives at their doorstep – and they’ll thank you every single time they sit down to create. All the stamps, ink, paper, and accessories are included in the kit.

Here’s How It Works

  • You place an order in my online store and checkout. .  You pay no shipping if your order only consists of Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Subscriptions.
  • You receive an email with a Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Subscription Code.
  • Give that code to a friend, family member or keep it for yourself. You can write it inside a card you’ve made or email them the code.
  • If the recipient doesn’t already have a Paper Pumpkin account, they should set one up here On the main screen of their account, they add the Subscription Code.
  • Starting the following month, they will receive a Paper Pumpkin box for every month of the subscription. If they want to continue past that time, they can simply add their credit card information to continue.

Wishing you Christmas Peace and Joy.

Simple Sunday Stampin’ Up Style

Hello Stampers! It is a Simple Sunday here at the beach. We have been blessed to have several friends join us over the week and the relaxing time spent catching up has done us so much good. Good friends, good times & good food just can’t be beat.

This bird is enjoying his day dancing on the beach!!!

For my Simple Sunday with Stampin’ Up! I chose to use the reindeer from Santa’s Sleigh. I love his prancing hooves. Shhh, don’t tell I used retired champagne glimmer paper because I ran out of gold! I have no idea how I ran out of gold glimmer paper. No worries, I have ordered some.

The Merry & Bright sentiment came from the November Paper Pumpkin. The stamps you get in Paper Pumpkin are useful all year long. Paper Pumpkin would make the perfect gift for a teen crafter in your family or an friend with limited space would also enjoy getting this craft kit in the mail. Paper Pumpkin is a gift that lasts all year long! Click HERE to read about it.

Don’t forget the Stampin’ Up! Year End Sales Event. You don’t want to miss out on these deals.

Our Advent Tree & Paper Pumpkin

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house. We even put up a tree this year. Many years we don’t decorate a tree because we are traveling. We always go to visit our grandchildren in Colorado and I dislike coming home after Christmas and having to put everything away, but this year we decided we needed a tree. Our tree is small and we only hang ornaments from our travels. Those ornaments bring a smile to my face. Such wonderful memories of places we have visited.

Last year I asked a friend to make me an “Advent Tree” out of wood slats. I saw the design on Pinterest. It was late December before I picked it up so it went in the attic until this year. I had intended to create some little bags or paper stockings for the tree UNTIL the November Paper Pumpkin arrived at my house. These stockings were perfect for my Advent tree!

I added  numbers and gold bling to the top of the stocking. I am so in love with how this turned out. Thank you Evan, Stampin’ Up and Paper Pumpkin!

The stockings have candy in them. I need some visitors to come enjoy the sweets.

Have you ever tried Paper Pumpkin? Getting that box of goodies every month is such a thrill. You never know what to expect but it is always fun. I guarantee it!

Wishing you Christmas Joy!
