I decided it might be nice to have some place card candy baskets for our Thanksgiving table. These can be placed at each place setting at your family dinner. Aren’t they cute??
I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper for the sunflowers. The brightly printed sunflowers made this project super quick and easy.
The Wood Crate Framelits made a perfect little wooden crate to hold some yummy candy. I know everyone will enjoy taking home a little sweet reminder of a wonderful family Thanksgiving.

Painted Harvest has been a super popular stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. I can see why – it is so versatile. I have even seen where other stampers made it into a hedgehog. I must try that!
This past Monday I held a Painted Harvest class. We created 3 different cards and shared lots of fun and ideas. Are you sorry you missed it? No worries, you can still get the directions for the cards we created. Just comment on this post and I will email the directions to you.
Here is one of the cards we stamped:
Love the bright, bold colors!
This technique is called Triple Time or Triple Panel card. Try it out sometime….it can be addicting.

We survived Hurricane Irma with no damage. We lost power for about 10 hours along with lots and lots of leaves, sticks and tree limbs, certainly nothing to be upset about. Neighbors on our street lost tress and suffered house damage. We are very thankful!
My card today is one that works well for Thanksgiving or just a card to let someone know you are thinking about them. The designer paper used on this card is my favorite paper in the Holiday Catalog. It has gorgeous colors and patterns. I have already used 2 packs of this paper! To save you time…Painted Autumn DSP is on page 49 of the Holiday Catalog #144613.
I love how Cajun Craze cardstock and Copper Foil sheets provide a rich backdrop for this simple card.
