New week. New sketch challenge. CAS(E) this Sketch has a simple sketch that lends itself to Clean and Simple cards. I needed some sympathy cards and I like my sympathy cards to be clean and simple. The thought is the important part, not lots of ribbon or bling.
I pulled out a set I had not used in awhile: Lilypad Lake. I paired it with Balmy Blue and a touch of Rich Razzleberry. Allowing the egret and lilypads to go outside the circles gives the design some movement and dimension. Of course, adding the waves from the embossing folder creates texture. A lot going on but still very subtle.

Hello friends. Oh, my goodness. Look at this sketch! I am NOT a triangle girl at all. Circle, ovals, squares and rectangles are perfect for me and my cards.
I am up for this challenge though. I created a visual triangle on my card. What do you think?
Clean & simple, my favorite kind of sympathy card.
Change the sentiment and you could make this a birthday card for a beach lover, or a get-well card for someone who needs a little pick me up. Versatility and creativity is what card making is all about.
I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
Have a fabulous day! Ginny

My card today features Lilypad Lake. The images in this set are so soft and pretty. Perfect for birthdays, sympathy, thinking of you and many more occasions.

I also used a new fold for this card. This is called a side swing card. I love the way it uses one image as a focal point. I used returning color Mint Macaron as the card base. The scallop square is Tranquil Tide. The tiny bit of Designer Series paper is from new pack called, Tranquil Textures. This paper is gorgeous with lots of texture type images.
Thanks for joining us today. We love comments so feel free to show us some stampin’ love.
Next in line is Pat Ertman, she has some lovely projects to share.
