Half Full for TGIFC#155

Are you a Half Full or Half Empty type of person? This quote says it all!

Half Full #Stampin' Up #Ginny Harrell

Yes, life is refillable. We can refill by taking a vacation, stepping back from frustrating situations, or sometimes a simple walk fills your glass. For me it is stamping and exercise. In that order! I feel better after exercise, but it is a real struggle to make myself get up and go. How about you? What fills your glass?

Enough chatter – on to my card. I used the sketch from TGIF Challenges for this card. I tossed around using circles, gift packages, animals and then settled on wine glasses. So many ideas, so little time.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my Half Full card:

TIPS for Half Full Card:

  • Stamp images on Shimmer White Cardstock.
  • Color the glasses with Wink of Stella to get a nice shine.
  • Use the darling Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes to create bubbles.
  • Twist several pieces of Silver Thread to create your silver bow.

I hope I’ve inspired you with this fun have set. I love the images and sentiments and I hope you do also.

Don’t forget to fill your glass today!

 Ginny

Half Full for GPD#112

Last week was really busy and I did not have much time to play along with any sketches. This week will be much better…I hope.

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project # 112. This challenge is CASE the designer. We get to case Connie Collins. She makes such beautiful cards. They are always spot on and perfect. Isn’t this card pretty???

I chose to go with her design of multiple images and a banner. I turned my card on the side but otherwise tried to stick to the scattered images.

Make sure you check out all the other entries in the GDP#112 Challenge. Some of them are really lovely. It is always fun to see what others choose to CASE.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Half Full for FMS309

Today I am using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I really enjoy participating in these sketch challenges-they help keep me motivated. If you have time this week I suggest you give this one a try:

Here is my Clean interpretation of the sketch:

I used Half Full set designed by Million Sales Achiever, Linda Bauwin. I adore this set and the sentiments I especially like the sentiment, “May your glass always be half full.” What a great message to include in your card making supplies. Are you a half full or half empty type of person?

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful Sunday. Happy Stamping!
