Freshly Made Sketches has a new sketch this week #545. I thought the Splendid Thoughts Designer Series Paper would make stunning rectangles. I was correct, it is so pretty.
Unfortunately, I have a bad habit of hoarding pretty paper. Are you a paper hoarder?
I die cut two images from cardstock. I stamped the other blossom, water colored it and covered it with Wink of Stella. I love shiny objects.
A tiny bow gathers the stems at the bottom. Some sparkly bling adds a sweet touch.

Our vacation is over, so it is time to get back stamping. Today I am sharing a card created for Freshly Made Sketches #542. This week the challenge is a sketch created by Kim Singdahlsen.
Simple sketches allow me to get creative and think outside of the box.
I went outside the box by using the Wisteria Wishes set to create a Christmas card. I also used non-traditional colors for this card.
The Wintry embossing folder created the background and In-Color Glimmer paper is trim on the center banner. The circle is blended with Fresh Freesia and Orchid Oasis inks. A lot of Iridescent Rhinestones add holiday sparkle. The sentiment came from the Trees for Sale stamp set. Love it when we can combine our stamps to create unique, fun cards.

It has been awhile since I participated in any sketches. When I saw Freshly Made Sketches #503, I knew it would work with the Floral Squares Dies.
Black, white & a pop of color are always in style!
The adhesive sheets make cutting and adhering the black die cuts super easy. Adhesive sheets keep glue from leaking around the edges.
In-Color Designer Series Paper added the pops of color. I also colored the bakers twine with Gorgeous Grape ink. The black & white DSP is Beautifully penned which is FREE during Sale-a-bration 2021. Free is my favorite.

It is full of happy, fun color. Just look at the Rainbow Glimmer paper, it makes the perfect background. The sequins add to the look of whimsy on this card. I plan to send it to my niece for her birthday. I am sure she will love it!
I really liked the 6 circle layout. It made me search my stamps for an image that would work. The adorable unicorns seemed to work. What do you think?

Today I am sharing a card I created on a Facebook live last week. I wanted to create a card that would work for Freshly Made Sketches FMS 454. I have been lax in participating in challenges. Hope this will get me back on track!
Fall is my favorite season and fall colors were calling my name. The rich yellows, golds and oranges make me smile. Fall is also a season you can seem to smell in the air. Ahh…. Of course, there are those Pumpkin Spice drinks we all look forward to in the fall season.
This card uses the Bloom& Grow stamp set. The coloring with Stampin’ Blends was quick and easy. The rest of the card came together quickly. My favorite kind of card!
Thanks for stopping by today. Stamping Hugs,

I decided to try the Freshly Made Sketches #431 card sketch today. I liked the different layout, so I got busy chopping paper.
After tossing out several pieces of cards and different designs I finally settled on using Country Club Suite.
The base of this card is Garden Green layered with the Country Club Designer Series paper. The Whisper White panel has some faint clouds in the sky stamped with Pool Party. Then it was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. I love the slight texture this folder creates. The golfer is colored with Stampin’ Blends and die cut. The sentiment is popped up for some fun layering. A nice easy card for your favorite golfer.
Masculine cards tend to stump me, but I am incredibly happy with this one. Let’s hope I can find a golfer who would enjoy getting a birthday card.
