The Fab Friday 160 challenge sure caught my eye. I love color and this one had 4 bright, yummy colors to combine on one card!
I started by cutting out the 4 colors using Puzzle Pieces Thinlits. Then I stared at all the pieces for awhile, played around and finally it dawned on me….a shaker card!
I love the way it turned out. This was also one of the easiest shaker cards I have ever made. The pieces are large enough to work with but they still provide a good bit of movement inside the shaker part.
Adding sequins makes it have a little shine and bling. I decorated the inside also.
I had left over pieces so I created several simple note cards that I can send friends. You do mail the cards you create don’t you? I do a happy dance when I get cards in the mail. Mail a card and make someone happy today.

I am sharing a card I created for Fab Friday #139. This week they posted a sketch challenge, my favorite! Sketches are one of my favorite starting places for card crafting and scrapbooking.
Here is the Fab Friday sketch:
Pretty simple which makes it easy to go in several directions. I chose to go with a basic, simple card that has movement and color.
Here is my card:
The bicycle rider shows movement and the waves of the embossing folder makes it look like he is riding with the wind. I deliberately offset the two circles to make your eye travel.
See the brick road. It is silver embossing paste on the new Gray Granite card stock. The embossing paste has a little bit of shine, which I love.
I also want to wish everyone a Happy Father’s Day! Make it an enjoyable day doing something special.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Breaking up is hard to do. I will definitely be sad to break up with the Grown With Love Bundle. The minute I saw the little wagon and watering can I had to have this set. Are you a gardener? Grown With Love is for you!
I knew Grown With Love would work well for the FabFriday Sketch #135.
Plus, it was already on my desk from a card I made last week (smile).
Here is the sketch:
Here is my sweet little wagon from Grown With Love.
Blues and reds look good mixed together & I chose those colors to create the flowers. The yellow rectangle gives it a little pop and the green tag ties in some of the secondary colors. See the tiny green leaves peeking out around the flowers …. I love mixing colors and trying new combinations.
The two bouquets in this set have a sentiment imbedded in the image. I wanted a huge bunch of flowers in my wagon, so I cut extra flowers and covered up the sentiment. I left this card blank so I can use it for any occasion. I have been doing that a lot lately and it seems to work. Just grab a card, add the sentiment either on the front or inside and you are ready to send your card.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

I knew Bird Banter would work just perfectly for the Fab Friday sketch challenge. Bird Banter is one of those stamp sets that makes you giggle. Everyone needs a laugh now and then.
Here is the sketch:
So simple, yet you can doll it up if that suits you. I chose to stay with the simple sketch but to add some details to the elements. Here is my card:
The Berry Burst base is a standard A2 size. Cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock at 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Adhere to the card base. Cut the DSP 2” x 4 ¾” and use the Triple Banner Punch to make the tag. Use the Layering Circe Framelits to create the Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst elements. Stamp the parrot and color with Blends. Fussy cut the parrot. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White and cut a notch on one end. Now you are ready to assemble your card. Tie a fluffy bow of Berry Burst Crinkle ribbon and adhere with a glue dot.
This crinkle ribbon is so yummy. It ties a soft and pretty bow.
Once you reach a “certain age” funny, sarcastic cards are the perfect choice and Bird Banter certainly is a funny stamp set. I absolutely love this stamp set!
I appreciate you stopping by today. Happy Stamping!
