Welcome to another SUBA Blog Hop. You are going to enjoy this trip across the Internet as we share Green cards. We were challenged to create a card using three new green colours. Talk about hard! It was quite a challenge for me. I finally came up with two very green cards that I am happy with!
Here is the colour combo we used:
My first card uses a set titled Bubble Over. This set makes it easy to create cards for those men in our life.
Masculine cards tend to give us trouble, don’t they? I started with covering the card front with these Designer Series Paper. Then I realized they looked like bottle caps…bingo. Pull out Bubble Over and add some bottles and a few Glitter Dot bubbles. I also embossed the Whisper White base with the new Subtles Embossing Folder. It is hard to see the embossing in a photo, but it gives just the right touch of texture to your cardstock. This is a must have embossing folder in my opinion.
Next up is a card created with Eastern Medallion Thinlits. This has very little stamping, but it is still a fun card to create.
Adding the coloured layers and Glitter Dots add interest.
July is a busy month for Stampin’ Up! The Designer Series Paper sale lasts until the last day of July. Don’t miss out on all this gorgeous paper.
We also have a wonderful promotion for those of you who may want to join Stampin’ Up! when you join for $99.00 you get to choose $125.00 in products and you get to choose an ink pad family for FREE! With all the new colors we have you will want to take advantage of this no obligation special.

What a busy weekend! I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Local OnStage Event here in Atlanta.
The Friday night event was CenterStage where a delicious meal was served. We were spoiled with lots of free goodies (new stamps, ribbon, etc.) and some awesome training. We also got to see the NEW Annual Catalog. You will not be disappointed-that is all I can share!
Saturday was spent swapping cards, hugging new and old friends, watching demonstrations, playing with new products, and having tons of fun. One last team dinner Saturday night capped off a wonderful but tiring weekend. I had to take a nap after church (smile).
Several of my team members attended OnStage. Here is a group shot of some amazing ladies.
Global Design Project Challenge
Today I am joining the Global Design Project #132 CASE the Designer. The designer to CASE is Stesha Bloodhart. She always makes such lovely cards!
I decided to case her color palette; soft blues, yellows, green, and crisp white.
I have been obsessed with one-layer cards lately. I like when the card base is one layer and the top section/layers are the “card” part. Does this make sense??? Maybe the photo will make it clear.
This card uses Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits.
Here is how you can make this card:
Cut a card base 5 ½” x 4 ¼” – Pear Pizzazz
First Layer cut 5 ¼” x 4” – Pool Party
Run pool Party piece through Big Shot with Oh My Stars embossing folder
Cut small layer 4” x 3” – Pear Pizzazz
Cut Whisper White layer 6 ½” x 2 ¾” Score at 2 ¾” & fold.
Stamp star using Daffodil Delight. Brush with Wink of Stella for some shine. Die cut with thinlits.
Cut Medallion pieces with Thinlits – Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight
Stamp sentiment at the bottom of note card piece.
Add faux bow and assemble card using adhesive and dimensionals.
Write a note inside, sign, place in an envelope and send it to someone special!
Thanks for stopping by today. Stop back in the next few days to see the retiring items and maybe a sneak peek at some new products!

I have a quick and easy note card for you today. These cards can be used for any occasion, just change out the sentiment. The note cards Stampin’ Up sells are so very thick and have smooth texture. I love the convenience of having a ready cut and scored card base ready to stamp or embellish.
Eastern Beauty has great images….and hundreds of combinations. I used the same design but used different color schemes.
Which one is your favorite?
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!
