Stamping with Friends are Sharing Online Exclusives

Welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop, where we are showcaseing  projects made with the Online Exclusives from Stampin’ Up! For my project, I chose the So Very Merry stamp set, which is perfect for Christmas cards. I made two simple cards using the stained-glass images from this set.

So Very Merry

The first card has a shiny Santa that looks like glass. I colored him with Blends and then added a piece of Window Sheet using an adhesive sheet. This card also uses the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper, which is also an online exclusive. You can see how I did this in my video HERE:

The second card is a fun fold card. I have used this fold before, but with different measurements.

So Very Merry

I love the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper on the card. It is so pretty!

Measurements:

  • Card base Lost Lagoon cardstock, cut at 8-1/4″ x 5-1/2,” and scored at 1,” 2,” 3,” 4.”
  • Pillar Panels: Pool Party cardstock: 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ (3) and Dry Brushed Metallic DSP: 5/8″ x 5-1/8″
  • Background Panel: cardstock: Pool Party 3″ x 5-1/4″ and Dry Brushed Metallic DSP: 2-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
  • Focal Point Card Base: cardstock: 4″ x 4-1/2″ and scored at 1/2,” and 1-1/2″

Merry Christmas from Stamptastic Friends

Happy Holidays from the Stamptastic Friends. This month we are focusing on Christmas cards and projects.

I chose to use the Spruced-Up Bundle for my projects.

Last week I created a few cards using this set. They are so pretty in all shades of Glimmer paper.

Spruced Up

Spruced Up

When you die cut the trees you have a bunch of trees left over. You will have solid trees and outline trees to create with.

The trees sat on my desk until I decided to try a framed project.

Spruced Up

This glittery frame came from a local dollar store, and I figured it would be perfect for this project.

The “words” came from the Santa Memories and More cards. I heat embossed them using Gold Embossing Powder.

Do you ever get stumped on what to create or how to use a Stamp Set/ Bundle? A good way to get out of that slump is to CASE the catalog.

This stands for “Copy and Share Card/Copy and Share Everything”. If you see a card and there’s something you just love about it, go ahead and copy and share what you create!

Santa's delivery

I was struggling with the Santa Express Suite. This adorable Suite is on page 16 of the Mini Catalog.

Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop – Christmas in July

Stampin’ Dreams is blog hopping with Christmas in July.

Do you start your Christmas card crafty early? I love making my Christmas cards early so when the holidays come around, I am finished, and I can enjoy all the fun and celebrations.

The new 2022 July to January Mini catalog has a BUNCH of fabulous Christmas stamp sets. I chose to feature Trees for Sale stamp and the Tree Lot dies. The Tree Lot dies are free with a $50.00 (US) purchase during Sale-a-bration. Free is always good.

Trees for Sale

I paired the stamps set with Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. This paper may look familiar because it is returning from last year’s catalog. It is so pretty, I’m glad they brought it back.

The white snow on the tress is die cut from white glimmer paper. It is so sparkly. Little touches like this shiny paper make your cards pop. Of course, the sky is coated with Wink of Stella.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you hop on to the next blogger for even more Christmas inspiration.

Wisteria Wishes for Freshly Made Sketches

Our vacation is over, so it is time to get back stamping. Today I am sharing a card created for Freshly Made Sketches #542. This week the challenge is a sketch created by Kim Singdahlsen.

FMS542

Simple sketches allow me to get creative and think outside of the box.

Wisteria Wishes

I went outside the box by using the Wisteria Wishes set to create a Christmas card. I also used non-traditional colors for this card.

wisteria wishes

The Wintry embossing folder created the background and In-Color Glimmer paper is trim on the center banner. The circle is blended with Fresh Freesia and Orchid Oasis inks. A lot of Iridescent Rhinestones add holiday sparkle. The sentiment came from the Trees for Sale stamp set. Love it when we can combine our stamps to create unique, fun cards.
