A CASE for Quilting

Its Saturday…a day to CASE the catalog! I have many friends who are quilters so I decided to make some cards and little gifts for them. They are going to love these cards!

My favorite is these little 3×3 gift card enclosure cards created with Christmas Quilt stamp set. I made these for Christmas, but I am going to make a few that would work for anytime of the year. Maybe even in baby colors for a Baby Shower….so many possibilities.

I CASED this from the 2017 Holiday Catalog, page 4. The Stitched Felt Embellishments are darling. They are a soft, fun and different.

My card is also CASED from page 4 in the 2017 Holiday Catalog. The felt tree gives it dimension and depth.  Now you have two very quick and easy projects for your quilting buddies.

If you have little girls you could add these Felt Embellishments to their hair bows. That would be so sweet!

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend of crafting!

New Sewing Necessary

If someone makes you a quilt you KNOW they love you! I have always wanted to learn to quilt but I am positive I don’t have the patience to ever complete one. For right now I am content to look at them on Pinterest and Facebook! I have also read almost every novel written that involves quilts. My favorites are the Elm Creek Quilters Series. Have you read them? You should!!

Even though I don’t quilt I can show you have to make a quilt card. No sewing skills necessary. Because it is made from paper it is not as expensive as fabric and if you mess up you just get another piece of paper.

Coming up with lots of color combinations was really fun. I have yet to make a Christmas card with this set even though it was created with Christmas in mind.

Has anyone ever made you a quilt? I would love to hear the story of your special quilt.

Thanks for stopping by today.
