Happy Thursday! I have another beautiful cake greeting card to share with you today. This lovely cake card was designed and created by my friend, LeAnne Smith. She has some amazing card making talent.

For this greeting card LeAnne used the Cake Soiree Bundle and the Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper. This is my second favorite paper in the 2018 Occasions Catalog. Do you remember my favorite DSP from the Occasions Catalog??? Honestly though, this paper is really pretty also. It has most of my favorite colors.
Look at the silver band on the cake. Wonder what she used? It is the new Silver Embossing Paste and the Sweet Soiree Decorative Masks. Embossing paste is so much fun to use and it creates a wow factor on your greeting cards.

I know these boxes might not look simple but they really are! Of course, the oh so gorgeous Painted With Love Designer Series Paper make them look very classy and elegant.
I created these as Valentine’s Day gifts, but they would be just the ticket for a ladies luncheon or wedding favor.
See the pink doilies? I used my blends to color the back of a silver doily. Blends help stretch your stash.
I have seen so many cool ideas using this box. I can’t wait to try them…I promise to share.

CASEing the catalog again today. The Sweet Soiree Embellishments Kit is one of the best we have ever offered. It is perfect for scrapbook pages and creating cards. The pretty little cakes would be just the thing to dress up an Anniversary Celebration scrapbook page. I bet it would also work to fancy up a gift bag. Those tassels and mini-clothes pins are extra cute.
My card for today is on page 10 of the 2018 Occasions Catalog. It is a quick and easy card for when you are in a hurry.
The velvet ribbon is so soft and sweet and adding the tassel= love!

The theme is Love. That works just fine for Valentine’s Day don’t you think?
I created this 3D card using the Large Letter Framelits and the Sure Do Love You Bundle. I also used one of the framlits you can get for free during Sale-a-bration. I love to combine products as it makes them more versatile. I know I have said it before….but this Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper is beautiful!
One last note: Have you seen the new Love stamp from the US Post Office? It even looks like one of our new stamp sets – Cake Soiree. Hurry and get some for your cards.

I usually case the catalog sometime during the weekend. It saves me time and I love the results. Why reinvent the wheel???
Pages 10-13 in the 2018 Occasions Catalog showcase some really yummy cards. The Sweet Soiree Suite works for wedding, anniversary, baby shower, birthday and so much more. I think this set covers just about everything!
My CASE today is from page 10. This is a birthday card and a shaker card. I love shaker cards. If you have trouble with the sequins sticking to your acetate I have 2 solutions for you: lightly rub acetate with an embossing buddy or add a few tiny seed beads to your sequins. The beads help break up the static cling. They also give it a nice little rattle.
Two things I love on the card: the gorgeous ribbon and the flowers from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit.
