Today I am sharing one of my favorite suites from the new January – June Mini Catalog.
Symbol of Fortune Suite is on page 22 of the catalog. I knew it would be a favorite as soon as I saw it.
This suite is perfect for creating a Folding Shoji Screen card. I have created two for you. They are mostly the same, but the color palate is based on the DSP colors.
Bright colors always call my name, so I do love this one.
BUT…. the soft colors here make my heart happy. The colors are so calming and peaceful.

It is that time again – another fantastic hop with Stamptastic Friends. I have missed blogging for awhile and this is the perfect day for me to get back to business!
We are saying so long to some of our favorite stamp sets and products. It is always hard to say goodbye, but we will soon be seeing some fabulous new products.
BUT…. if you see anything on this hop you need to get it while you can.
Beautiful Friendship has been my most used stamp set over the past few years. The reason I love it so is that it is just simple, simple stamping. Change your colors and you have a totally different card. You don’t need many supplies, mostly ink and paper!
Here are my two cards. The first one is stamped with Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, and Seaside Spray. Soft sweet colors!
The second card is stamped with Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. The ribbon and punched sentiment step it up a bit, but it is still a simple card. I also added a few ink splatters for interest.

Forever Fern must be the most amazing stamp set ever! I have almost worn this stamp out…not that you can ever wear a stamp out. Yay! This one will be on my shelf for many years to come.
I wanted a fun fold card and this one evolved very easily. I started with the pretty Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and used a few stamps to create the front panel.
Tips: Start with DSP that sparks your imagination.

The colors are stunning.
Next, choose a few embellishments. Love these Gold Hoops. I call them card jewelry.

I am so grateful for a job that gives me the time to connect with family as needed or just take time to be quiet.” Don’t we all need that quiet time in our life? Today I am sharing a masculine card. I hear from my customers how it is hard to create cards for the men in their life. Best Catch Bundle may solve that problem for you.
The net behind the fish is from Sea of Textures. You could also use a piece of shredded ribbon or a burlap scrap. Texture makes a card interesting.
