It’s a Love Hop today! All things Valentine to share with special people in your life.
I absolutely love Valentine’s Day. It is so much fun to let family and friends know you love and appreciate them. A card is a great way to do this – a card and a stamp. A small investment to share the love!
My first card is a fancy, frilly card for that someone special. I used some gold embossing to create highlights on this card. The Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper has these stunning gold swishes and smears on it …It is almost too pretty to cut. Thrilled with my card so I am happy I took the plunge.
My second card uses the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I created a tiny Valentine to tuck in a gift for your sweetheart. I fussy cut the little girl from the Birthday Memories Designer Series paper, covered the flower bouquet with a tiny heart and mounted her on a small pink heart cut using the Sweet & Sassy Framletits. The small heart was also embossed with the new Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I folded the Marina Mist cardstock and die cut the larger heart making sure it was offset to create a card that opens. The tiny felt bow gives it a just a touch of whimsy.
I hope these Valentines gave you some new ideas for your special cards. Need more inspiration? Use the list below or hop on to Georgia Gaydos. I’m sure she will be sharing some beautiful creations.

Thanks for stopping by today. This Sunday I am hopping with a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world. You will love seeing the different style of each papercrafter.
Our theme for the hop is BLENDS!Blends are the new, improved alcohol markers that Stampin’ Up! released earlier this fall. Blends color like a dream. If you are an adult coloring book addict or paper crafter you are going to want several of these markers. Heck, just go ahead and order all the blend colors. I know you will adore them as much as I do.
I have two cards to share with you today. One has just a touch of coloring and the other uses every color of Blends minus the browns and grays.
My first card:
This is a center step fold card created with the Birthday Delivery set. That little girl is so cute and sweet. Did you notice the LOVE card? It is from the Petal Garden card package. Using cards that are pre-printed saves time and gives you many options. The ribbon is also colored with the Pool Party Blend marker. How cool is that? You can now make all your white ribbon match your card stock. This ribbon is a hint of something to come in the New Occasions Catalog!
My second card:
This colorful card really pops. For this card I cut the Happy Birthday out using Whisper White. I cut the words where they join so I had two die cuts. Using the Blends I colored each letter in rainbow order. I layered four black card stock die cuts and then glued the colored Happy Birthday on top. The little bit of black shadow peeking out makes the colors jump right off the card. These are alcohol markers so the paper does not pill up and the colors are really vibrant.I also scored around the edge of the card to add some additional interest, added a few starts and it is complete.
Which one is your favorite?
You can also see some more Blends cards HERE, HERE and HERE: These flowers and roses are almost too pretty to put in the mail.
Thanks for taking the time to visit today. I hope your Sunday is colorful and peaceful. Ginny

CASEing the catalog once again. The perfect way to get cards made during your busy weekend.
This card is even easier than most because it uses Designer Series Paper. The only stamping is the greeting and inside sentiment. Super easy and QUICK! You can find this card on page 68 of the Annual Catalog.
I used the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set and the Birthday Memories Designer Paper. It can’t get much easier than this! This will be the perfect card for the dog lover in your life or a sweet card for a child’s birthday. Do your children wait until the day before a party to tell you they need a gift and a card?? This will be your go to card if that happens.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!
