Welcome to another Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Today we are sharing some of our favorite products from the January to May Mini Catalog.

Today I am sharing a card created for the Paper Crew Challenge. I love sketch challenges! #PCC502
Covered in Sunshine may not have caught your eye, but I knew immediately I needed it! You know I love sentiment sets because they are so versatile.
Here is my card:
It is hard to see but I used a Flirty Flamingo blend to highlight some of the words on the main image. I also used Night of Navy ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The Stamparatus made this so easy! Isn’t the By the Bay DSP perfect for this card? Gold swishes add a nice touch.

Welcome to another Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop. I love these hops because they make me try techniques and ideas that I may not have thought about trying.
Today we have a sketch challenge. The good thing about sketches is everyone sees things in their own unique way.
The funny thing for me is once I made my first card, I had an idea for a second card that is different, but still follows the sketch.
My first card followed the sketch in a literal and traditional way. Texture Chic Designer Series Paper is the front of the card, and I added the elements following the sketch suggestion. Sequins and pearls add some bling and texture. As a color lover this card makes me happy.
As I was finishing the first card, I had the thought…the circle can be part of the background. I used Blending Brushes, Pool Party ink & Bermuda Bay ink to create the “circle” element. Then I added the same elements as the first card.
Which card is your favorite? I like them both!

Stamptastic Friends are sharing coloring techniques today. Stampin’ Up! has so many coloring options it is hard to pick just one!
We have Inks, Blends, Watercolor Pencils, Water Coloring Brushes, Blending Pens, Sponge Daubers, & Blending Brushes. There may be more that I have forgotten!
I chose to share how you can use Sponge Daubers to ink up your stamps. The Daubers give your images dimension with very little effort. I always love easy techniques.
For these two cards I started by using a light color of ink. Ink your stamp well, then take a darker ink and brush around the edges of your image using the Sponge Dauber. Go lightly and use short strokes. Now you are ready to stamp. Every time you try this technique your image will change. That is what makes it so interesting.
On this card I used Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo.
The second card uses Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape.
I hope you will be inspired to try other color combinations with this stamp set.

This week I am in a holiday mood and decided to use Best Witches stamps to create a few Halloween cards. I like my Halloween cards sweet and funny. Nothing scary for me!

Adding bright, happy colors also keeps this card happy and fun.
The inside is just as much fun as the outside.
