Paper piercing is a technique I love but forget about using on my cards.
I knew the cute coat and skirt on the lady from Delivering Cheer would look adorable with paper piecing.
My first card is for Thanksgiving or as a Thank you card. I used a damask pattern piece of DSP from the Pattern Party Host pack of DSP. A touch of color on her mittens, scarf and flowers finished the look. The background and side panels are Beauty of the Earth DSP. I would love for her to ring my doorbell and bring me flowers!
The second card is more fun, flirty, and fanciful. The buffalo check is from the same Pattern Party Pack. The side panel is from Heartwarming Hugs DSP.
These cards were shared on a Facebook Live. You can watch the replay on my YouTube ChannelHERE.

Today I am sharing a whimsical & fanciful pink Christmas card. This scrappy, shabby card is so easy to create and uses your scraps to make a fun card.
The best way to start this type of card is to cut your strips, distress one edge using your scissors or an old emery board. Adhere the strips in random order to a piece of 5 ½” x 4 ¼” cardstock. I used Tombow glue to make sure they were snug. Once all the pieces are adhered and dried you can trim it down to 5 ¼” x 4”. I then adhered the panel to a Mint Macaron card base.
Did you notice the glittery strips? They are Be Dazzling paper (from Sale-a-bration) dyed with Polished Pink reinker mixed with rubbing alcohol.
A vellum circle and Shimmer Vellum trees create the focal image. The glitter tree is also Be Dazzling paper. I dipped the ends of the twine bow in reinker, so cute. Rhinestones are scattered across the card front for extra glitter.

“Picture This” dies look uninspiring at first glance.
Picture This # 155559
I am here to convince you otherwise. These simple dies lend themselves to so many types of cards. Today I am sharing a few and I have about 30 more ideas rolling around in my head! I may not ever get tired of these dies.
Have I convinced you to give them a try?

Eden’s Garden is an early release from the new mini catalog that will be available in January. I fell in love with the DSP the minute I saw it. It is so soft, shiny, and elegant. You can order it now, without having to wait until January!
A few weeks ago, a group of demonstrator friends go together and presented a showcase of videos using this collection.
I shared a trifold card that focused on the stunning Designer Series Paper. I love the way it turned out.
I also used the wreath idea from the Stampin’ Up concept artists. Don’t you just love the gold glitter frame?
