Stamptastic Friends – CASE a Stamptastic Friend

stamptastic friends blog hop

Welcome to the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop. This month we were challenged to CASE another Stamptastic Friend. CASE means Copy. And. Share. Everything. What a hard decision! There are so many fantastic cards and projects to choose. After looking and studying I picked this happy snowman card created by Gina Conner.

Gina Conner

I chose Gina’s card to case because I liked the layout. It has lots of layers and shapes to create interest. To create my card, I substituted a birdhouse and flowers for the snowman. It came out so soft and sweet.

Pansy Patch Spring Cards

Pansies are such sweet flowers. I love how pansies come in so many distinct color combinations. A wide variety of color choices make card crafting easy and exciting. Changing the colors make each of your cards unique. FYI- Pansy Patch is currently 20% off during March 2022. That makes the pansies even sweeter.

For my first card I started with purples in mind. I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. The purple color is perfect for Easter cards I plan to send. The Iridescent Rhinestones really make the flowers pop.

I also had a piece of Basic White on my desk covered with Shimmer Embossing Paste flowers. I decided to use it for the background of a Polished Pink pansy card. It still has the soft look, but the colors are a bit brighter. I am happy with the way each card turned out.

Below is my YouTube Video from my Facebook Live. I hope you will try these pretty pansies.

Mischievous Mice for Stamptastic Friends

stamptastic friends blog hop

Stamptastic Friends are sharing the wide variety of Stampin’ Up! animal images today. I don’t know about the others in our group, but I sure had a hard time deciding which stamp set to go with…otters, turtles, whales, birds, and so many other fabulous & fun animals.

I finally narrowed it down to these adorable rodents. Who knew rodents could be so cute?

I also went with quick and easy as we have been on holiday for a week. (Quick and easy is always my style anyway.)

Birthday cards are always in style. This oversized balloon is about to take this mouse for a ride! Perfect for a young person in your life.

The striped Designer Series Paper is Sunshine & Rainbows. The balloon Designer Series Paper is Daffodil Afternoon. Both papers are FREE during Sale-a-bration. I love when our products compliment each other.

I also like to have simple note cards on hand to use for a thank you or thinking of you. This sweet card will do nicely. Again, the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper made the perfect statement with soft colors.

Hop on to the next blogger to enjoy more animal inspiration.

Stamptastic Friends Share Sale-a-bration Products

stamptastic friends blog hop

Welcome to the January edition of Stamptastic Friends. We have loads of New Mini Catalog & Sale-a-bration Inspiration for you to enjoy.

If you are new to Stamptastic Friends, we are a group of demonstrators who met a few years ago during a training session. I am the only outlier as I am from the US and all the others are in the UK. But we all share the joy of stamping!

If you are new to Sale-a-bration it is the best time of the Stampin’ Up! year. Do you like FREE?

For every $50.00 US you can choose FREE products from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. There are also free products on offer for orders over $100.00 US. Please check with your demonstrator in the UK for local pricing.

It was a hard decision which Sale-a-bration product to share. I have enjoyed using all of them so far. Today I am sharing Driving By and Sunshine & Rainbows. These two products really go well together.

                                                    Driving By

  Driving By

The card front is created with Picture This die. I have almost worn this die out, as it is amazingly versatile. Using scraps to fill the circles is a wonderful way to use those pretty scraps you have been saving.

My second card is paper pieced which did take a little bit of time, but so worth it. The VW Beetles look like Love Bugs! The cloud punch worked perfectly for the cloud print Designer Series Paper. All cards were made with the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hop on to Carrie for more inspiration!

Bouquet of Love for Freshly Made Sketches #518

Freshly Made Sketches pulled me in this week. It is 100% clean and simple, which makes my heart happy.

Freshly Made Sketches

I created this card that is a little bit frilly, yet still clean and simple.

Bouquet of Love

I also used Very Vanilla, which I tend to forget about. I love how soft and elegant it looks.

Can you tell I am enamored with Bouquet of Love? It must be close to Valentine’s Day!

Thanks for visiting today.

Stampin’ Up! Bouquet of Love Anniversary and Valentine Cards

I used the Bouquet of Love Bundle to create a few lovely cards. I was not sure how a hybrid cut and emboss folder worked, but it was easy! The cards come out looking like you spent a lot of time creating them!

Bouquet of Love

I needed an Anniversary card for card and knew Bouquet of Love would make a beautiful card. The colorful insert heart is Expressions in Ink Designer Series paper. I have been hoarding this paper for some reason. Now I am inspired to use it all up!Bouquet of Love

Next are two Valentine cards made using the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. Same layout but a different color palette.

I inked up the folder to see what it would look like. Stunning! I can’t wait to make a card with these two card fronts.

This bundle is currently out of stock but should be in the warehouse around January 24th. Mark your calendar because it may sell out fast!

You can watch my Facebook Live HERE. I shared some tips and tricks on how to use this hybrid folder.

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:
