Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Card
Poinsettia Petals and the soft white Velvet paper worked magic to make this beautiful Christmas card. I love non-traditional colors for Christmas, especially pink.
I created the pink poinsettia by die cutting all the velvet pieces and then used a blending brush to add Blushing Bride and Polished Pink ink.
All the DSP and card stock are simply layered to a card base and the poinsettia added last. The In Color Gems really pop. I love it! This may look involved, but I thought it was fairly easy. I hope you will try it.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Card and Tutorial
Hello Monday!
I hope everyone is recovering from the time change in the US. Not a huge fan of this at all!
Note cards, thinking of you and friendships cards are something I enjoy creating and keeping in my stash. It is so easy to stay connected when you can grab a card in a hurry and get it in the mail.
I designed this card a few weeks ago. It is not a Christmas card!!
With the overload of Christmas and Thanksgiving cards it was time for a change.
Forever Fern is one of those stamp sets that will stay on my shelf for many years. I love the images and the way they stamp with built-in shading. It makes your card stand out from flat stamped images.
I chose pink & gray for my color palette to keep it soft and simple. Several shades of green give the foliage a realistic look.

Stamptastic Friends Welcome Autumn
Welcome to our September Hop. Stamptastic friends are sharing Fall/Autumn cards. For me Fall means leaves, rich colors, and a bit of frosty sparkle!
I am so ready for fall to arrive as it has been one hot summer. I can tell the days are getting slightly cooler so that increases the anticipation.
Today I have two cards to share. The first one is simple and quick. My favorite kind of card!
For this card I used the Gorgeous Leaves bundle and just 3 colors of ink: Night of Navy, Merry Merlot, & Old Olive. The Linen Thread gives it a touch of rustic.
The DSP layer is Blackberry Beauty Designer Series paper.
Once again used I the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle but this time it is stepped up with some die cuts and the Be Dazzling Paper from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. I also used an embossing folder on the corners to give it texture.
Fall colors are some of my favorite. Do you like the rich colors of fall?
