Stamptastic Friends are wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is so satisfying when you can send a beautiful handcrafted card to your friends and family. I know they wait for these special cards to show up in their mailbox.
I chose to create a Happy New Year card. It will stand out from all the Christmas cards my friends receive. It will also stand out because it is very sparkly. Bling, bling, bling.
This simple layout is a bit different because I cut the front smaller so the glimmer paper would be a larger focus frame to set off the images. Sometimes simple is best. It also means you can make several of these simple cards in a short amount of time. Saving time is a bonus.
The two cocktail glasses are filled with a silver beverage. I heat embossed the beverage with Silver Embossing Powder. Adding Wink of Stella to the glasses also adds some shine. I topped everything else off with a few Rhinestone bubbles!
I also created a cute tag that I will add to a bottle of wine. This will go to neighbors for a New Year gift. Fun times.
Hop on to my next Stamptastic friend. I am sure you will be inspired by her creations.
Cheers to a New Year!

Pretty Paper Packets are so much fun for creating small projects. They give you a “taste” of our products and don’t take up as much room as an entire suite or bundle.
Here are the contents of the September Pretty Paper Packet:
Today I am sharing a simple set of tags created with some of the products from the September Packet. I think these tags will look fabulous on your Christmas gifts this year.
To create these tags, I cut one card base in half and created 4 tags – 2” x 4”. Punch the tag top using Delightful Tag Topper.
Measurements for one of Tag 1:
DSP – 2” x 2 ½”
Gold Foil – cut 2 pieces 2” x ½”
Whisper White – 2” x ½”
Ribbon – 3 ½” tied off with white Bakers Twine
Stamp tree and pinecone on Whisper White cardstock. Punch using Pine Tree Punch and fussy cut the pinecone.
Stamp To: & From: on Whisper White piece.
Embellish with Red Rhinestones. Assemble as shown.
Measurements for one of Tag 2:
DSP – 3 ¾” x 1”
Ribbon – 3 ½” tied off with white Bakers Twine
Stamp 3 trees on Whisper White cardstock. Punch using Pine Tree Punch.
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap.
Embellish with Red Rhinestones. Assemble as shown.
I hope you will enjoy creating these tags with your Pretty Paper Packet.

The 2018-2019 In Colors will be retiring in May. I already miss Lemon Lime Twist! It is always hard to say goodbye to some of our favorite colors, but we do get to say HELLO to some new In Colors. This year we welcome: Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, & Purple Posy.
I love them all but think Terracotta may be my favorite. What do you think, which one is your favorite?
Here is a tiny tag/bookmark with the new colors to give you a better idea of how they go together.
I created a card with a few of the new In Colors. For this card I used the retiring Incredible Like You stamp set. Using the new colors gives this stamp a nice, new fresh look.
You will have to wait until June to order the 2019 – 2020 In Colors. If you have not ordered your 2018 – 2019 In Colors, you will need to do that soon. Lemon Lime Twist is already sold out. Order some pretty colors today. Colors brightens our life!

I have a super simple card for you today. Sometimes simple is the best way to go…not every card has to be “over the top.” This simple card uses the sentiment as the focus. Life is Grand has the best sentiments EVER! You can use most any color and these sentiments look stunning.
Life is Grand is guaranteed to be available until May 24th. Order yours before it is gone for good.
Life is still grand here in Paris. We are walking, sightseeing and just chilling out. Enjoy a few pictures from our walk yesterday at Promenade Plantee.

I used a sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage set and combined it with some of my favorite products. I am so sad this set is retiring this year. It will be one I keep for years as I love the sentiments. One can never have too many great sentiments!
The Rose Trellis dies and the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper make this card extra special.

Hello Stamping Friends! Happy Easter and Happy Spring.
I am so excited to be sharing with you today. We have been without Internet service for about 2 weeks and finally got it back up and working last Thursday. Talk about withdrawal!
You may have arrived here from Gina’s Blog or you may be starting with me. Either way be sure to check out the links at the bottom of this post. You won’t want to miss seeing these great cards.
Last week was the Stampin’ Up! ® OnStage Event. OnStage is held in numerous cities around the globe and all active demonstrators can attend if they wish. We get to see the NEW catalog, learn new techniques and most importantly we get to renew friendships with fellow demonstrators that we may not see very often. A fun activity most of us participate in is swapping. Each demonstrator creates multiple cards of the same design and we swap our cards. The swap cards give us so many new ideas and it is a lot fun.
This year I sent one of my swap designs to my SUBA friends in the UK. Caroline swapped for me and will be sending my swaps from the UK soon! So excited to see the beautiful cards I received.
This is the card I sent to the SUBA group.
Inside of the card.
I attended OnStage in Charlotte, North Carolina. I only took about 20 swaps and again used Geared Up Garage. This was my swap for Charlotte, NC.
Geared Up Garage is one of the best masculine stamp sets ever! There are so many ways to use this set. Check out my Geared Up Garage Pinterest Board for more ideas. I have been thinking about how I could make this a Barbie car and use it for a little girl. LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure you continue your travels by clicking on to the next blog. Leighsa always has great projects to share.
