Today I am sharing an easy candle decoration created with Stampin’ Up! Products.
Last year I purchased some battery-operated candles from Ikea. They are a nice red for the holiday, but very plain. I decided to dress them up using the Christmastime is Here designer series paper and a few other products.
I used a lot of gold elements because the rose image is created with gold outlines. Bling is always a good thing.
The great thing about battery candles is you can add paper decorations without the fear of fire. You can also change the decorations next year if you want to try something different.
The Christmastime is Here Suite is so beautiful, I had to throw a card into this post. The designer series paper makes your card making easy. People will be impressed!

Today I am sharing a bubbly fun birthday card with you. I started with the sketch from Paper Craft Crew.
Of course, I used some of my favorite colors to create this card. I love the way these “beachy” colors go together.
The vellum circles were covered with Wink of Stella. This made them look like bubbles from a fizzy drink. A few sequins added some more bubbles.

Stamptastic Friends are hopping today, and we are CASEing the catalog.
All of our catalogs are loaded with inspiration. A crazy number of cards sketches and ideas of how to use our embellishments and dies. I love to browse and get ideas for my creations.
Sometimes I case the color combo and sometimes I case the layout. Do you use our catalogs for inspiration? Using these ideas is a huge time saver. Win, win!
I chose to CASE a card from the 2019 Holiday Catalog, page 15. I stayed pretty close to the original card, but I used a different Designer Series Paper. Starting November 1, you can purchase a limited time suite, Christmastime is Here. This Designer Series Paper is so shiny. I love the gold/copper foil accents.
Directions for this card:
Card Base – 8 ½’ X 5 ½”. Score at 4 ¼”.
Copper Foil – 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”
DSP – 5 ½” x 4”
Assemble the layers as shown.
Die cute the white image using the Peaceful Boughs Dies.
Stamp the foliage with Soft Sea Foam ink.
Ink up half of sentiment using an Old Olive marker. Stamp towards the bottom of the die cut piece.
Ink up the word Seasons using Cherry Cobble ink. Fussy cut the word using paper snips.
Die cut the pinecones using Copper Foil and Sift Suede. Assemble.
Attach the pinecones and Seasons sentiment using mini dimensionals.
Mount the main image to the card from using dimensionals. Add Gold ribbon and Gold Glitter Enamel Dots. Both embellishments are from the Christmastime is Here Suite.

This past year Stampin’ Up! has encouraged us to share #simplestamping projects. I never thought I would be a simple stamper but here I am loving it!
As I promised I am sharing another Birds of a Feather project today. This darling chick just brings a huge smile to my face. And it fits #simplestamping to a T.
Simple Directions
To create this card, I started with a Whisper White note card. I added a layer of Real Red cardstock and piece of Night Before Christmas Designer Series paper.
The chick is stamped on Whisper White and die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels. He is colored using Daffodil Delight Mango Melody and Real Rel Blends. A touch of Wink of Stella adds shine to the Santa hat and star. A simple piece of ribbon and red rhinestones finish off the project.
This card would be perfect to mass produce using your Stamparatus. Die cut the labels, position your stamps and get busy.
I hope you enjoyed my funny little chick today,

Welcome back to Two Girls and a Stamp. Christina suggested we use Birds of a Feather stamp set and I said what??? I never even noticed this set in the Holiday Catalog. Guess what? I love it. I have used every stamp in this set more than once. EVERY.SINGLE. STAMP. That almost never happens when I get a stamp set.
Today I am sharing a simple Thanksgiving card. I loved coloring this funny turkey. I pulled my color options from the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. This plain has some of my favorite colors and it is not just for Thanksgiving. I am sure it will make some great masculine birthday cards as well.
This gobbler is so cute!
Over the next week I will share my other creations using Birds of a Feather. You are definitely going to want this stamp set!
Make sure you hop over to Christina @ Paper Gears. I can’t wait to see what she has created for you.
