Today we leave Paris to and fly to Portugal. We start our Camino de Santiago walk on Monday. We are walking the last 128 km on the Coastal Path. Excited and ready!
I made this card for friends who just left for a retirement, birthday, anniversary cruise. I figured it went with our trip also.
They say you should do something everyday that scares you. I’m trying very hard to do that.

We have been visiting a lot of parks and gardens in Paris. The spring flowers are starting to bloom, and everything is so green and pretty.
I figured that meant it was time to share a flower card with you.
This gorgeous hibiscus is from the Humming Along stamp set. This bundle is retiring at the end of May. If you love coloring this set is perfect. The flower can be just about any color you like. The sweet hummingbird has unlimited possibilities. Click HERE to see a Hummingbird card I shared awhile ago.
Below are a few pictures from our walks the past two days. I hope the colors will inspire you to craft a beautiful card.
Thanks for stopping by today.

We are featuring all the lovely “Pinks” Stampin’ Up! provides us. We have so many pinks to choose from, the best thing is they all go together so well.
Did you know we have a new pink glimmer paper in the Annual Catalog??? Rose Glimmer paper is a true pink. I decided to use the Rose Glimmer paper on two pink projects.
First up:
A friendship card.
This sweet card would cheer up someone who is going through chemo or is a caregiver for someone who is undergoing treatment. We can’t forget those caregivers.
Botanical Bliss
Botanical Bliss stamps and dies were used to create this card. After die cutting the leaves and I decided to use the negative piece as a stencil. Sponging the leaves on the barn wood background created dimension on the card.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the past few years I have participated in a Pretty in Pink Fundraiser. These ladies do an amazing job of decorating, providing inspirational speakers, fabulous food and wonderful craft booths. I didn’t get many pictures, but you can see from the tables that they really go all out decorating!
Check out these candy boxes I created for my booth. The pattern came from The Paper Pixie (Julie DiMatteo). Thanks Julie for such clear directions.
I used Powder Pink card stock and the Rose Glimmer Paper. Of course, some yummy chocolate is inside the box.
Make sure you continue on with the Blog Hop. Amazing creations are ahead.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Hello Friends, I am hopping with the Friends of SUBA Group. Our theme this month is Autumn.
I am so thankful the weather is finally starting to look and feel like Autumn. This past summer was so hot! Cooler weather always makes me feel better and gives me more energy.
I chose to go with sparkly fall leaves. The copper glimmer paper from Joyous Noel collection makes lovely leaves layered over Wood Texture DSP. Tie your leaves with a linen thread bow and you have an Autumn bouquet.
To create this card you will use Wood Textures DSP. Garden Impressions DSP, Soft Suede and So Saffron Cardstock. I love easy cards that use the basics.
Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you hop on to Leighsa. She has some lovely cards to share.

I held a club class yesterday and this Sitting Here card was one of our projects. I love the simplicity of this card and am so glad I will have 5 for my use. One can never have too many thinking of you cards. Now I can just reach in my card box and pull one out as needed.
Sitting Here Thinking of You
I left the inside blank to be able to write a personal message.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
With a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut a card base of 11” x 4 ¼”. Score and fold at 5 ½”. I used Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
Use the Stampin’ Trimmer, cut Garden Impressions DSP 5 ¼” x 4”. Cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock 4 ½” x 3 ¾”. One for card front, one for inside.
Stamp front of card using Black Memento ink and Blueberry Bushel. Start stamping from the bottom up so you can get the spacing correct.
Color image with Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo, and Pool Party Blends.
Stamp pillows on scrap pieces of cardstock and DSP. Color as desired and cut each pillow.
Assemble the card as shown.
Create a small banner and attach it to the top of your card. Add a tiny bow of baker’s twine.
Happy Stamping!
