Wishing for Snow – Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Welcome to another Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. This hop consists of demonstrators’ world-wide who are working on improving their business skills. Please cheer us on as we learn tips and tricks from Kylie.

I have been looking at my holiday stamp sets and realized Spirited Snowmen and Beautiful Blizzard needed a little bit of love. These two sets can stand alone, or you can combine them, as I have.

I love using Stampin’ UP!® note cards. They are cut and scored ready for you to use. Such a great time saver.

For this card I used a new product from the Annual Catalog – Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and Envelopes. These note cards come with a watercolor type background in several colors.

My dancing snowman is ready to give you a big snowy hug.

This card will be heading to a friend who loves snowmen and is having surgery next week. It will be perfect.

Next up is a card using the Silver Foil edged Note Cards from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. These note cards come in gold and silver and I adore them. I stamped this using Pool Party and Bermuda Bay inks. I always use blue shades when working with snowflakes. Do you? I have seen some lovely pink snowflake cards this year. Maybe I’ll give pink a try!

Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you hop on to the next blog post.

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project from today.

Happy Stamping!

4 Tags & A Card For Global Design Project

Welcome Stampers. Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #GDP166.

I really needed some gift tags and I thought this sweet sketch would work well for a tag as well as a card.

I created 4 different gift tags and loved the reindeer one so much I made a matching card.

To create a card or tag using this design look at your stamps and dies and find some small focal images. It was easy to come up with a large variety in a short amount of time.

Today is the last day of 10% off Tools & Ink.

Today would be a good day to stock up on inks and ink refills. We have such beautiful colors. There are lots of Thinlits and Framelits included in this sale. You can see the sale items HERE.

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Happy Stamping!

Rustic Snowflake for Freshly Made Sketches

It has been awhile since I participated in a sketch challenge. I always enjoy them because they push me out of my comfort zone.

Last week I was playing around with embossing powders and created this rustic snowflake. It has been on my desk waiting for me to do something creative.

Then this Freshly Made Sketches #364 created by Kim came along and rescued my snowflake.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I heat embossed this snowflake with gold, silver and copper. I loved the way it came out so rustic and sort of “country.”

I do have a few more Snowflake Showcase cards to share this week… remember these products will disappear November 30.

I also have a few more Holiday Inspiration Newsletters to share. Make sure you sign up for my newsletter to receive free holiday tutorials.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Snow is Glistening Cards #simplestamping

Thanksgiving Eve and we are gearing up for the big day. Thank goodness for #simplestamping. I have two more snowflake cards to share today. I am in love with this Snowflake Showcase Bundle. If you like it as much as I do then you need to order before the end of November.

Purple can be a Christmas color.

This card is created with a Stampin’ Up! note card. These cut & scored note cards are a huge time saver.

I stamped this card using Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. A few dots of Powder Pink added interest on the background. I layered the punched sentiment with silver glimmer paper and added silver thread for dimension. Lots of bling adds the finishing touch.

I almost didn’t share this card because unfortunately the Designer Series Paper is sold out. But it is so pretty, and I had to share.

We have several new colors this year and Merry Merlot is one of the new Neutral colors. It goes with everything! Have you tried it yet?

#Simple stamping is a great solution for you if you have procrastinated on your holiday cards.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

#simplestamping Snowflake Style

Welcome to another Snowflake day. Last week 6000+ Stamping Up!® Demonstrators gathered in Orlando for one big party – OnStage.  OnStage is where demonstrators meet up with fellow stampers, learn new techniques, gain business information and have lots of fun.

Part of the focus at OnStage was reaching out to beginning stampers. Do you remember when you were a beginner? How about the first time you put ink to paper and a beautiful image appeared? It is almost magical.

Here is my magical beginner card for today. It is simple, yet  beautiful.

Several things make this card simple.

  • The Silver Foil edged card base is lovely. No layering needed. It even has a matching silver edged envelope.
  • Using the Stamparatus to stamp the Snowflake Tree was a breeze. Because the Stamparatus has two plates I could stamp the tree and then stamp the tree trunk. Flip, stamp, flip, stamp, done.
  • Stamp the Joy sentiment and punch with a circle punch. Add to card front with dimenstionals.
  • Stamp inside sentiment using the Stamparatus.
  • Add a few rhinestones as Christmas decorations.
  • #simplestamping completed in about 5 minutes.

A reminder: The Snowflake Showcase stamps and Thinlits will disappear November 30. You will want to order them today, so you can make beautiful Christmas cards.

Stop back tomorrow for more Snowflake inspiration.

I always enjoy hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Happy Stamping!

Kylie’s Demonstrator Blog Hop for November

Welcome back Stampers! I am participating in Kylie’s Demonstrator Blog Hop this afternoon. This hop originates in Australia which means it is afternoon for us.

It is always stamping time somewhere.

This hop includes stampers from around the world. Because of this you will see tons of variety and hopefully be inspired to create your own lovely cards.

Let’s get hopping.

My card today uses First Frost from the Holiday Ca

talog. I used some non-traditional holiday colors, but I love it anyway. This set is beautiful and multi-purpose. It can be used for several different occasions and that always makes a good stamping investment.

Look at all the detail of these stamps. Such pretty colors and images.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you hop on to the next stamper. Follow the links and leave a comment here or there. Everyone loves comments!
