Pretty Paper Packets are so much fun for creating small projects. They give you a “taste” of our products and don’t take up as much room as an entire suite or bundle.
Here are the contents of the September Pretty Paper Packet:
Today I am sharing a simple set of tags created with some of the products from the September Packet. I think these tags will look fabulous on your Christmas gifts this year.
To create these tags, I cut one card base in half and created 4 tags – 2” x 4”. Punch the tag top using Delightful Tag Topper.
Measurements for one of Tag 1:
DSP – 2” x 2 ½”
Gold Foil – cut 2 pieces 2” x ½”
Whisper White – 2” x ½”
Ribbon – 3 ½” tied off with white Bakers Twine
Stamp tree and pinecone on Whisper White cardstock. Punch using Pine Tree Punch and fussy cut the pinecone.
Stamp To: & From: on Whisper White piece.
Embellish with Red Rhinestones. Assemble as shown.
Measurements for one of Tag 2:
DSP – 3 ¾” x 1”
Ribbon – 3 ½” tied off with white Bakers Twine
Stamp 3 trees on Whisper White cardstock. Punch using Pine Tree Punch.
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap.
Embellish with Red Rhinestones. Assemble as shown.

Today we leave Paris to and fly to Portugal. We start our Camino de Santiago walk on Monday. We are walking the last 128 km on the Coastal Path. Excited and ready!
I made this card for friends who just left for a retirement, birthday, anniversary cruise. I figured it went with our trip also.

Do you have friends and family that live far away? I think it is important to send cards periodically to let them know they are never far from our thoughts.
I cased this sweet image from the current 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up!® Catalog (page 25). I love the soft colors and darling animals on this card.
The leaves around the copper foil bench are stamped with the large tree top image from Sheltering Tree. It is great when you can use a stamp in a different way, makes your stamps multi-purpose!

It has been a few days since I posted but we are having so much fun on vacation I have not had time. We are enjoying an amazing time in Paris, acting like locals and adding in a few touristy things.
We went to see VAN GOGH Starry Night” Immersive Exhibit. It was absolutely amazing. I may have to go again before we leave Paris. The images, motion and music were perfect.
The card I am sharing today is spot on for letting a friend know you are thinking of them. I call these kinds of cards Happy Mail. I love to send Happy Mail and I love to receive Happy Mail. How about you? Would you enjoy getting some Happy Mail?
It was easy to switch out the sentiment on this card by masking the stamp set and adding the Hey Friend sentiment. Notice the green leaves? I colored my velum with a Granny Apple Green Blends Marker. This is a great way to get more use out of your supplies. A touch of Wink of Stella makes the flowers sparkle.

We have a few more days in Paris and then we fly to Portugal to start walking the Camino de Santiago. I am excited and scared all at the same time! Hopefully I can post some of our adventures of our pilgrimage.

Do you skip over stamp sets because you think they are only for one occasion? Animal Outing is sort of a baby card stamp set, but it is a whole lot more. Don’t get stuck in a rut. Use those stamps sets in as many ways as possible.
I created this card for a friend who needed a pick me up. Look at this darling giraffe! He just brings a smile to my face every time I see him.
Tips for creating this card:
The card base is Lemon Lime Twist (sold out) but you can use a different green.
Stamp leaves on the top half of the card using Lemon Lime Twist ink.
The bottom half of the card is a piece of Tropical Escape DSP 4” x 3”
Stamp and color the Giraffe and Frog using Blends. Die cut. Slide the giraffe under the edge of your DSP and adhere. Adhere the frog on the side.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White. Punch using the new Timeless Label Punch (available June 4, 2019). Punch another label from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and cut it in half to create the shadow. Adhere using dimensionals.
Tie a piece of Lemon Lime Ombre Ribbon around the card to finish it off. Add a few Glitter Enamel Dots.
Super easy card that is not a baby card!

I am one lucky girl. I often have the opportunity to travel and enjoy seeing other countries and cultures. For this I am truly grateful. Life gets busy and sometimes we tend to forget how lucky we are and how fortunate we are to wake up to new opportunities every day.
This colorful card conveys how we should be joyful and thankful for all our special opportunities.
I used a bunch of colors on this card and it was easy to just eyeball the figures as I stamped. A little wavy line instead of a perfect straight line gives it character.
I am so pleased this set is carrying over in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It is a keeper for sure.
