Hues of Happiness

Today I’m excited to show you Wiper Cards. This was a new card technique for me, and I had a lot of fun trying it out. I can’t wait to make another one! These cards are called Wiper Cards because they have a moving element that resembles a windshield wiper…kind of.

Beary Cute Wiper Card

This is the card open.

This is the card folded up tp go in the envelope.

I combined the Beary Cute Bundle with the Merriest Trees Bundle to create my card. I love the result. The bear is so cute, and the trees make a lovely background. My card base is Pretty Peacock & I matched the Balmy Blue DSP with Cherry Cobbler DSP to add some contrast.

  • Card Base 8 ½” x 4 ¼” Score at 1 ½” & 3”
  • Bridge 8 ½” x 2 ¼” – The bridge can vary in width depending on your pop-up image. Score at 1 ½” & 3”
  • DSP Side panel 4” x 1 ¼”
  • DSP Two bridge pieces 2” x 1 ¼” One bridge piece 2” x 3 ¾”
  • Inside DSP 5 ¼” x 4”
  • Basic White back piece for message 5 ¼ x 4”
  • Scrap for bridge sentiment – sized according to your sentiment.
  • Window Sheet 2? X ½”
  • Basic White for pop-up mechanism 1 3/8” x 7/8”

Thanks for stopping by today. Please hop on to the next blog. I am sure you will see some amazing Wiper Cards.
