Share it Sunday Christmas Card

Share it Sunday

I have a simple Christmas card to show you today. It uses the Magical Meadow Bundle and the lovely Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.

This is one of my favorite fun folds. It works for many different occasions. You might see this fold again on some other holiday cards.

I will be making more holiday cards in the next few weeks. If you want more holiday ideas, please come back later.

Introducing the #StampingDiversity Design Team

I am pleased to share that I am now a member of a new Design Team. The #StampingDiversity DesignTeam is group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who love sharing projects with you. This team has a specific focus to share and educate on occasions, celebrations, and observances that may not get the representation on store shelves or catalog pages that they deserve.

A possible way to describe “diversity” is to say that it is the act or state of embracing or involving people who have various social and ethnic identities and who belong to different genders, sexual orientations, and so on. This is how the Oxford English Dictionary defines it.

Why is diversity important?

By embracing diversity, we can enrich our knowledge and skills from various backgrounds and viewpoints. This helps us to become better human beings.

My reason for sharing diversity.

I spent my youth as a military child. We lived all over the world. Because of this I have always enjoyed learning about other cultures and countries. Can you tell why my blog is called Celebrate the Journey?? In addition, my husband and I love to travel.  We have visited almost every country in the UK and Europe. Now we need to add some of the other regions we have missed!

I hope you will join us on our new adventure!

Goofy and Fun Halloween Cards

For today’s blog hop, the team is showcasing Halloween cards that are humorous, eerie, and weird!

I enjoy making Halloween cards as long as they are not too frightening. No one wants to be scared by a card!

I have made 2 cards for you to enjoy and they are both amusing and goofy.

The Bag of Bones bundle includes a charming skeleton who loves to dance. He is very funny and adorable. You can dress him up with different accessories like hats, shoes, a cane, and some skeleton pet friends! My first card shows a skeleton with cool orange shoes dancing on a zig-zag background. I used Basic Borders dies and Designer Series Paper to make the background. I like to use purple, orange and green for Halloween colors. This skeleton makes me smile.

The second card has the some of same colors but a different design. The fold is fun and eye-catching.

I hope you will follow the blog hop and see more amazing cards…Don’t worry, there are no goblins here!
