Gosh it has been a while since I posted! I get to where I think I have things under control and then life gets busy again! We are currently on vacation in the South of France and enjoying every minute. We both needed the time away as well as time to rest.

stamptastic friends blog hop

The Stamptastic Friends are sharing Home Décor items with you this month. I can’t wait to see what the group members have created. I love how our stamps, inks and papers can be turned into lovely accent pieces for our homes. It just takes a bit of creativity and the inspiration to give it a try.

Several months ago, I found a hexagon frame at the local dollar store. I bought it thinking sooner or later I could use it for a stamp project. I was thrilled when I saw the Queen Bee Bundle because I knew it would be perfect as a table decoration.

To create the background, I used black ink and randomly stamped the floral branch. Then I layered a hexagon of Daffodil Delight cardstock to create a smaller frame. Then I stamped and die cut the floral branch, Queen Bee and flowers. While the collage effect is sort of vintage, the bright colors give it a modern feel.

This little table sits in the corner of my craft room.
