Whimsical Trees lends itself to a huge variety of color combinations.
For this card I went with purple ink and cardstock. I used all our light shades of purple: Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia. I may try this in some other colors soon. How about you? Pink? Blue? So many possibilities.

We took a mini vacation to Santa Fe last week. It was full of great food, sightseeing and visiting museums. Now it is time to get back to work. I don’t mind because my work is actually fun!
Today I am sharing two Z fold cards with you.
Both are Christmas cards, but different stamp sets.
First up – I saw a Z fold card created with 12” x 12” cardstock and had a few 12” x 12” pieces so decided to try it out.
Peaceful Deer stamp set pairs perfectly with FREE Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper. Lots of pretty details on this card.
Next up – Not everyone has 12”x12” cardstock so I fiddled around and deigned a smaller version using 8 ½” x 11” cardstock. Using these directions, you can get 2 cards out of one sheet of cardstock. I am smitten with the tiny pencil trees.

I already had this set on my craft desk, so it was an easy decision to go with this funny little puppy.
