How can you resist a big, bold sunflower? I knew this set was going to be a must have from the new 2020 Annual Catalog.
Bold images and great sentiments are always a winning combination.
This card starts with an unexpected element: vellum card base. I scored very lightly and folded the base without using a bone folder. This will keep your vellum from cracking.
I used a sunflower piece of Flowers for Every Season DSP on the side and on the inside front of the card. The inside piece is used to cover tape and glue dots. We can’t have a messy inside can we? The sentiment piece is a die cut sunflower using Whisper White. This keeps the sentiment from showing through on the front.
I love the color combination of Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee. I finished it off with a small bow to add some color and texture.
