Magnolia Blog Hop Wishes You a Merry Christmas

Magnolia Blog Hop

Welcome to the first Magnolia Project Blog Hop. This talented stamping group has members from several different countries all over the world.

We are here today to wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas!

Let’s get started:

I created my Christmas card using the beautiful Christmastime is Here Suite. This stamp set quickly became my favorite of this holiday season. The best part? It works for all sorts of events. I was able to make birthday, sympathy, and thinking of you cards!

Christmas Rose

The Designer Series Paper is the star of this card. I used it for the oval focal point and the strip on the front. Pretty paper makes card making a breeze.

I also used the Tufted Embossing folder to mimic the same pattern of the Designer Series Paper. Love this!

Your next assignment is to hop on to Margriet, she will have a stunning project to share.

Please leave us all a comment. We would love to hear from you.

Merry Christmas,

Celebrate Big Time

Christmas card crafting has been in full swing for at least 2 months.

Which means some of my birthday cards got depleted. I had to remedy that situation and got busy and made some cute cards for the children in our family.

I love bright colors, so I was happy with the way this turned out. Mixing the Designer Series Paper with bright colors of cardstock make this simple card pop. Even though this has card has flowers it will work for a boy or a girl.

This happy rhino is mounted on a “wobble”. He shakes when you shake the card. So fun for the birthday boy or girl.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Stamptastic Friends

Stamptastic Friends are wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is so satisfying when you can send a beautiful handcrafted card to your friends and family. I know they wait for these special cards to show up in their mailbox.

I chose to create a Happy New Year card. It will stand out from all the Christmas cards my friends receive.  It will also stand out because it is very sparkly. Bling, bling, bling.

Cheers to That, Sip, Sip Hooray

This simple layout is a bit different because I cut the front smaller so the glimmer paper would be a larger focus frame to set off the images. Sometimes simple is best. It also means you can make several of these simple cards in a short amount of time. Saving time is a bonus.

Cheers to that, sip, sip hooray

The two cocktail glasses are filled with a silver beverage. I heat embossed the beverage with Silver Embossing Powder. Adding Wink of Stella to the glasses also adds some shine. I topped everything else off with a few Rhinestone bubbles!

I also created a cute tag that I will add to a bottle of wine. This will go to neighbors for a New Year gift. Fun times.

sip, sip hooray

Hop on to my next Stamptastic friend. I am sure you will be inspired by her creations.

Cheers to a New Year!
