Gift from the Sea – Library Challenge
I stumbled across a new card challenge page a few days ago. The Library Challenge! Challenges are inspired by book titles. How perfect can that be stamping, crafting and reading. As a retired Library Media Specialist, it suits me just fine, thank you! I am in heaven.
The current book inspired challenge is Gift from the Sea. you can be inspired by: The cover or the title or the story.
I decorated bar of sea spray scented soap with images from the sea. I loved the bright blue ocean color on the soap wrapper along with the raffia wrapped around the bar of soap. It matched up so well with our ink and paper colors.
The stamp set I used is Sea of Textures and I also used some water grass from Smooth Sailing dies. A splash of Wink of Stella gives this project some shine and sparkle. It makes me happy when products play well together.
I can’t wait to try some more Library Challenges. So many books, so much inspiration.
