Using a sketch as inspiration is the perfect way to get your creative juices flowing. This design from Freshly Made Sketches #396 has a frame (sort of) and that is what inspired me. I am a firm believer that life is an adventure.
I created a rustic frame using DSP and added the rolling seas and sail boats. I’m happy with the way it came together and know it will be perfect for my adventure loving grandson.
Have you looked at the Memories and More Card Packs? They are created for memory keeping but I love them for card making as well. There are so many hidden gems in the Annual Catalog. Keep studying the pages and I am sure you will be inspired.

Adventure awaits with your beautiful card! I love all the details. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
I seem to learn so much valuable information when I read your blog. The frame and how you made it is so inspiring. But the sketch idea is something I have actually never considered. Thank you so much for sharing your creative ideas.
