Beautiful paper and a great sentiment = stunning card!
Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper may be the most popular DSP of all time. When you see it in person you will understand why. Pretty colors and lovely flowers.
I paired the designer paper with Band Together Bundle to create this sweet card. The soft Petal Pink ribbon sets off the sentiment. Quick, simple, elegant: my kind of card.

It seems a little wrong to be thinking about fall cards when it is over 90 degrees outside, but I did it anyway. Maybe it is wishful thinking!
I used a sketch challenge from Just Add Ink to jumpstart this card.
For the main flower image, I stamped it twice on Very Vanilla cardstock, colored both images and fussy cut and layered part of the flower image. This gives it a little bit of dimension and interest.
The Grunge Galley woodgrain stamp adds to the fall theme along with the golden colors of the leaves.
I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

New week. New sketch challenge. CAS(E) this Sketch has a simple sketch that lends itself to Clean and Simple cards. I needed some sympathy cards and I like my sympathy cards to be clean and simple. The thought is the important part, not lots of ribbon or bling.
I pulled out a set I had not used in awhile: Lilypad Lake. I paired it with Balmy Blue and a touch of Rich Razzleberry. Allowing the egret and lilypads to go outside the circles gives the design some movement and dimension. Of course, adding the waves from the embossing folder creates texture. A lot going on but still very subtle.
