I have a sweet friend who is going through some tough times, so I have been designing some cards of encouragement.

Today’s Dragonfly card is created based on a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #331.

Love a good sketch, don’t you?

This sketch has two bars on the side, a sentiment and a focal image.

I wanted to try the embossing paste again so that is what I used to create the bars. They are very subtle, but I think that fits the light airy look of the dragonfly. What do you think?

Do you see my favorite colors again? They make a bright and cheery dragonfly and background.

Hope you had a lovely weekend. We are still waiting on spring to make up her mind. It is hot, cold, warm and then it starts all over again. Crazy weather. But it is always warm and comfortable in my craft room so that is a good thing!
