I’m just popping in today with a quick & easy gift card/money holder. It is helpful to have some of these on hand “just in case”! The good thing about these is you can make them in just minutes using some of your left over Designer Series Paper scraps. Make a few for every occasion; birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day. It is an enormous time saver.
Here are the measurements I used:
Cut your cardstock 7 ¾” x 5” Score at 6” & 2 ½”
Cut a belly band 8” x 1” Score at 6 1/8” & 2 ½”
Cut 2 pieces of DSP: 4 ¾” x 2 ¼” & 4 ¾” x 1 ½”
Cut one piece of white or vanilla cardstock 4 ¾” x 1 ½” for inside.
Once you layer and adhere the DSP you can create a finger slot using a 1 ½” circle punch. Seal the sides only of the bottom section using score tape or Tombow glue.
Fit belly band around the Gift Card Holder. Adhere the ends together and decorate as you wish. These can be plain or over the top fancy. Get creative!
