There are so many new and wonderful stamp sets in the Occasions catalog and I have really enjoyed creating cards with them. But my other stamps sets were feeling neglected.

I pulled out Tap-Tap-Tap and decided to use it in a different way. In the past I have used   this typewriter to create hello or thinking of you cards. By adding sentiments from the new Bloomin’ Love I was able to use it to create a fun Valentine.

The Blushing Bride glimmer paper added just the right amount of bling!

The MojoMonday432 sketch was my starting point.

 Do you like to use sketches or start from scratch? Using a sketch for inspiration makes it much easier for me to be creative. Often I never complete a project because I can’t make a decision. Sketches help me focus and get the job done!

Valentine’s Day Art

Did you see that many stores had Valentine’s Day candy out before we even celebrated Christmas? Good Grief! I know Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it but really???? I don’t like my holidays to overlap. One holiday at a time is enough for me.

When I saw the Global Design Project sketch this week I knew exactly what I was going to try. I had been thinking about creating this card for a long time, but didn’t have a layout in mind. Sketch #GDP018 is just what I was looking for!

To help you get ready for the next big holiday I have a colorful Valentine! It does not have a lot of stamping on it, but it uses a lot of our wonderful products. Here is my card using this sketch.

This is the perfect card to use up some of your tiny scraps. Do you save tiny scraps? I do…. probably too many scraps but they just might come in handy some day. Just saying.See the tiny hearts dripping off the paint brush? I used the Confetti Heart Border Punch to get these drops.And the paint brush??? It is the bird wing from the bird builder punch. So many ways to use our punches in a creative way.
