It is hard to believe we have been here 17 days. The days have flown by at the speed of light. Now I am worried about getting in all the sights I want to see before it is time to return home! Of course we have seen the “biggies” in Paris, but there are so many more sights worth seeing. On our bucket list are several small museums, a parc in the rooftops, and maybe a train trip to Reims. Do you have any suggestions of non-traditional places to visit? Please share…..
My sister and niece have been with us this week and we have been showing them around town. We have been to the Eiffel Tower, Sacre-Coeur, Christmas windows at the large department stores, St. Sulpice, Musee d’Orsay, Marais district, Champs-Elysees, Luxembourg Gardens and done a lot of shopping! Today we are off to Notre Dame and other highlights of the neighborhood.
Here are some highlights of our week.
Your Eiffel Tour photo is to die for!! It looks like Paris is the place to be in the Fall. Just beautiful!
Did you get to see The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries at the Cluny?
Ginny and Robert,
Per your request for suggestions: This is certainly not “non-traditional,” but have you been to Fontainebleau? How about the Corbusier Foundation? Cite Universitaire? Just a few of the not extremely famous places I have enjoyed.
